Radio 1's sister station BBC Radio 1Xtra has today launched its new daytime schedule which sees Trevor Nelson and Gemma Cairney go their seperate ways.
Twin B now presents the breakfast show between 7am and 10am while Trevor Nelson hosts the 1Xtra Live Lounge on his show between 10am and 1pm.

All of this week the specialist DJs will takeover BBC Radio 1 as part of an ambitious project promoting the presenters that usually come out at night.
Zane Lowe is taking the breakfast show between 7am and 10am, Annie Mac will present Fearne's show between 10am and 1pm, and Huw Stephens will air between 1pm and 4pm. Nick Grimshaw will present Scott Mills' show between 4pm and 7pm.

Unofficial Mills was very excited to hear Miranda Hart was to be on the show this week and she certainly didn't disappoint when she visited Scott Mills on Monday.
She struggled with the Radio 1 chairs, she revealed there might be a third series of Miranda, sung along to Christmas songs and she shared with Scott some stories about Justin Bieber. No doubt the crazed Bieber fans will be hunting her down now.

The Sun reports today that Chris Moyles' on-air sidekick Comedy Dave will be Dancing On Ice in January 2011 on the ITV1 show.
Dave will join Jeff Brazier, Kerry Katona, Angela Rippon, Denise Welch and Chloe Madeley when the programme returns on January 9th.
Other 'celebrities' lined up for the programme include Dominic Cork, Sam Attwater and Elen Rivas.

The tribute to Gillian McKeith that Chris Moyles has been championing on the breakfast show for the last week has charted on the Radio 1's Chart Show this evening.
Brett Domino's musical accolade to the I'm A Celebrity 'star' peaked at Number 11 on the iTunes chart on Friday and reached Number 29 on Radio 1's Chart Show beating off a new entry from Usher.

Scott will be joining Caroline Flack and her co-presenters in the Australian ITV2 studio for I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here... Now! tonight as revealed earlier this week.
The programme airs tonight at 10.40pm and Scott will be appearing on the show throughout the next week.
It had been originally suggested by gossip sites, using our original article, that Scott Mills was to be a contestant on the main show but that had been denied throughout the week.

Although Scott suggests that he's off to appear on the I'm A Celebrity spin-off show, several gossip sites reckon that he could well be appearing on the actual jungle show next week.
Scott is now in Australia and has taken a week off leaving Greg Jamesin charge of his radio show. But now websites including Heat World believe he may be sent into the jungle to shake things up.
