Well... as we're all geeks I thought someone might be able to help! Just been trying to install 4oD and received the following error message near the end of the installation. Anyone got any ideas what it means and how I can fix it? I'm logged on to the computer as me, and I'm set as the Computer Administrator. In the pre-installation checks, it also thinks that I don't have Windows Media Player 10 or above installed, even though I'm using version 11. Please help, I want to watch Skins.

Oh my gosh. I'm so dizzy sometimes. I just went to get my NI card, but instead I went downstairs to talk to my housemate, I then went upstairs to my room (where the card is), now I'm back in the spare room, without the stupid card!! If I wasn't me, I'd worry about me. :confused:

That'd be brilliant! One of my best friends and my mum's boyfriend live in Maidstone.

Where was that, and what happened?! I have no ideas whatsoever, just had a thought today about going to London for Craig's 21st next month. (I hope he isn't a Mills Geek too, or I may have just spoiled the surprise....)

I said in the other thread that I'm happy because I've got two days off work... but that's because I'm working at the weekend, which means I'll be working eight days in a row before I get another day off. That sucks. Lots!

The sun is shining, I have dolly mixture sweeties and I've got two days off work!

I told Craig that I wasn't really into Valentine's Day, thinking that would mean he wouldn't get me anything but he went shopping after work today and I wasn't allowed to come. I'm pretty sure I know what that means! Now I'm stressing about what to buy him. Thankfully I have the next two days off work to think about it and get something. All suggestions are welcome!

This wasn't taken right now, obviously as it's dark outside. But it was taken on Saturday evening. It's the view from my window in our lovely new house. Apologies for the crappy quality, it was taken on my phone. The view is gorgeous, trust me! I don't want to leave this house!

I'm not ill! But I am covered in bruises and I'm still having trouble walking after my spectacular fall down the stairs on Thursday.

Maybe I'm getting old and cynical, but I'm really not into Valentine's Day this year. I think it's there to make single people feel bad about being single, and to suck money out of those in a relationship. Plus, I hate the idea of forced romance. I always thought romance is supposed to be spontaneous, and a way of showing someone you care, rather than something you should be pushed into!

Woke up with a sore through. Ugh. I've been taken out of my normal call group for a few days and most of the calls I take now are at least five minutes long, I just couldn't be bothered with it today. I think I had a slight temperature too. But hey, it's nearly the weekend! On top of that, I managed to fall down the stairs, crash into the wall, bang my arm, twist my ankle and drop a heavy CD rack (containing CDs) on my leg earlier this evening, so I'm in a fair bit of pain now!

Craig and I went to 'All Things Chocolate' after work to have my final hot chocolate before Lent starts. It was sooooo yummy. If anyone ever visits Nottingham, make sure you go there. It's on Pelham Street and they make the nicest hot chocolate I've ever had, plus they give you a free chocolate. It's proper chocolate too, that tastes gorgeous and melts in your mouth. I really need to stop talking about chocolate.

I can't wait! Loved the first series, my housemate hated it though so I don't think I'll be able to convince him to watch it with me. Slightly off topic, but I'm thinking about getting a Freeview box so I can watch so I checked the Freeview website for coverage of my area and it said I should be able to get some channels but not all. That's all based on the Waltham transmitter, but surely it'll be coming from the Nottingham transmitter... as I'm actually in Nottingham! I've never really understood all that. Can anyone explain it to me - simply please!

Is Shrove Tuesday earlier than usual this year? I'd forgotten all about it until just now, might have some pancakes tomorrow instead!
