Newsbeat reported the news really poorly indeed... Radio 5live jumped into the coverage at around 14:50 so there was enough of information for additional 15:00 bulletin. Reporting that terror attack happened almost an hour late is unexceptional for the BBC. The news bulletins were clear and informative but there were too few of them. Even Capital did half-hour news bulletins.

I have to agree with you guys. I don't mind amount of music during Scott's and Greg's shows but in the first part of the day it's just unbearable. Clara's show has no content at all and the worst thing it just does not sound good unlike Capital or other commercial rivals. And the breakfast show sounds tired. In fact, I think that drivetime show sounds better than the breakfast one which is a shame and a main issue Radio 1 keep losing listeners IMO. On the other hand, I love weekend output. Dev's great so is Matt, Alice and Danny.

The Official Chart was live last year on Christmas Day. Anyway, maybe not Scott, but Danny should be live.

Oh come on... It was 6 episodes at 9 O'Clock on BBC Three. It added some listeners, but without it ratings wouldn't be "awful".

I noticed only main news bulletins are simulcasting on both stations, but yea, it seems that all bulletins (except breakfast) are begin sumulcasting together now.

Guests are good, but I think they need to avoid boring guests with no personalities, like Cheryl Cole.

I really enjoyed R1 breakfast last week, when Scott was covering Chris. So, I want a bit more music, a few guests and some features (more than Grimmy or Moyles has at the moment).

Scott has confirmed on air that Grimmy starts in September 24th at 6:30am. I think 6:00 and 6:30am is the best time to start breakfast show, because a lot of people are starting their jobs at 8 or even 7. 7:00 is quite late for a breakfast show.

Why Zane should be swapped with Huw? Zane is a great boradcaster, I can't see a reason why. Yes, he's old, but it's a specialist area of Radio 1 and age doesn't matter so much. He'll be axed, but not that soon.

What's general between Moyles, Mills, Fearne, Greg (all R1 weekdays daytime DJ's)? They all started on early breakfast slot. Dev is a great DJ, I would rather listen to him, than Cox, Fearne, Greg, Vernon, Gemma etc. etc.
