Come to think of it, even though it wouldn't be a popular move, I think Grimmy could do a decent job of the breakfast show.

Covering for Fearne Mon-Fri for 3 weeks from the 9th August, and then she'll probably return to the Sunday Lie-In in the September.

It was great hearing the vuvuzela again too! Spoony sort of took the lead, it was only his and the guests voices I heard much of. It's quite easy to see why the R1 management decided to give him his own show, he's got that natural ability to present.

What a fantastic episode that was last night! The Touareg race in the North Pole, the Bugatti Veyron SS, the tribute piece on Senna - all brilliant! I really thought Top Gear had lost it's way after the last series which was pretty awful overall, but this series so far has been great! Whereas I normally fast forward through the interview part of the SIARPC, I've now really taken a liking to Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. They were really down to earth and genuine, happy to talk and having a laugh, enjoying themselves and not taking themselves too seriously. I guess all the guests are like that, but with these two there was something real and genuine about it all. Or maybe it's just the fact that it's not what I'd expect from a couple of Hollywood A-listers that made it that tiny bit more special and enjoyable to watch.

They should give The Dreem Team the 3-5am Saturday night/Sunday morning slot permanently to be honest to replace the pointless 1Xtra Mix Show. Although this would mean I get even less sleep on a Saturday night.

Good move to be honest. As much as I like the feature, it became tired and repetitive fairly quickly. And I hate the fact that on Tuesday's it often overruns and pushes the end of the Monday Night Pub Quiz past the 8am news and causes the team to rush through it all. And even as a fan, there's only so much Westwood I can take in any one day.

Did anyone listen? I caught the hour from about half 1 to half 2, and thought it was great! I was planning on giving it a miss as unless I'm going out the only reason I'm up at that time is to listen to Fabio & Grooverider (or more accurately Fabio or Grooverider). Loved the show, gonna check it out again on the iPlayer and take notes of certain tracks. Brilliant hearing Spoony back on Radio 1.

And Richard Bacon too who I hear was really good. Great news for Nihal, I'll make sure I'm up early enough to watch.

Over my dead body will they get rid of Gilles Peterson! :x And I think getting rid of the Asian music show Nihal does is pretty much out of the question due to the imminent closure of BBC Asian Network and the BBCs need to cater to that audience in otherways across their other existing networks. Would be great to hear Rob Da Bank covering for Zane or Nick Grimshaw for a week or two though, or on the next set of 'Bank Holiday Takeovers'.

Not at all surprising news, but fantastic news nevertheless! Can't wait to spend another year of waking up to Chris and the gang.

Not at all! I don't know how old you are but I assume you're not that old. There was one middle aged man that I happened to see at the end of the film who was there alone. No one will think anything of it, especially if you go soon and during the day when kids are most likely to be at school before the holidays start. Definately worth seeing though! I thought it was great
