To be fair, its way too early to bring back Bowman (or Whiley) to the weekday schedule for cover and i think even if its not a little bit akward, it might confuse some listeners who don't know the Radio 1 weekday lineup as well as others. Not that there going to want to go back to their old show times which is why Edith covers for Nick when he is brought into the daylight...

I'm sure the vast majority of radio listeners still listen on fm and as 6music is still a digital station until the radio 'digital switchover' does happen supposedly in 2013 and people can access the station easier it doesnt matter how amazing the line up is...people still won't be able to listen, even if they wanted too...

I predict that Moyles will be up, as per usual at this time of year. I'll be suprised if we even get to hear what Greg and Fearne ratings are like anyway. I guess we will only hear if their up quite considerably. But i guess it will take all four RAJAR quaters before we really find out how well there doing against Jo and Edith. It wouldnt suprise me in this quarter if there down for Fearne and Greg but i think they will improve because 'No one likes change, do they?!'

I like the idea, i just hope people don't think Dick and Dom have made a return to Radio 1....

I'm sure everyone has got an opinon on this and as we made quite a lot of very good predicitions last year, so i think we should make a few for this year! I don't think it will be a another year for changes on the whole for the daytime line up and i think Moyles and co will stay be hosting breakfast this time next year as at the moment there is simply no one else that could do the job as well as they do or better. It wouldn't suprise me if Jo moves on to Radio 2 or 6 because she's offered a better job...

Listened for bits and pieces today and yesterday but if i'm honest i really can't stand it at all. The best bit i thought was today when he played a best bit with Jimmy Carr earlier in the year. When i have listened to him in the past im pretty sure he played radio 1 playlist ( i know even that can get boring at this time of the year) in his show but im guessing what hes playing is pretty much upto him and the radio team or 1xtra playlist. So im not enjoying most of the links (even by not taking it serious - i just find it gets very monoutous and boring.) I hope Radio 1 reduce the amount of simulcasting with 1xtra, its starting to annoy me. I'll have to find another station to listen to tommorrow afternoon, not really a heart fan either!! Rant over....
