  2. Is it the Friday of Download festival? If so, makes perfect sense, if not, odd choice
  3. I think they're always called that. B.O.B's was anyway
  4. Aye. We were allowed to take pictures, just not allowed to stop and pose So it was fine if you had a friend to take an 'action shot'!
  5. Here's my diary/review of yesterday if anyone's interested We arrived for around 11ish and got our tickets checked so we could go straight in when the gates opened. Westwood was waiting for us on the outdoor stage and offered a VIP pass to any girl that wanted to rub sun cream on his back.......his crack......and his sack. We left, we went to see Yr Ods on the introducing stage who were bril and got me very exited for the rest of the day (and the welsh language music scene in general, but that's another story) After Yr Ods I went to meet Scott, I got an autograph and shook his hand, he was nice, so was Reggie (who turned up late!), we could hear Dephic from the INMWT stage and they were pretty good We then headed to see Marina who was good and afterward we went to rave to the sounds of Fabio and Grooverider (with only about 50 other people) they were VERY good. Apparently whilst we were ravin the main stage was evacuated so they were behind schedule a bit. We saw Jason Derulo, me and my friends who are 'Solo' fans were very impressed when we thought he was dancing to a dubstep remix of Watcha Say, turns out it was technical difficulties and he went off stage :L He came back on though and he was very good, a very talented man, we were pleasantly surprised at how good he was. Paramore next they were pretty good Then we went on to Plan B who was also great I was really torn between Biffy and SubFocus but my friends wanted Biffy and I'm soo glad I chose them, A-MA-ZIN, best band of the day by far, the crowd were good too I saw a little of You Me at Six but they're not my thing tbh (Does one of their songs go "I've got a big dick to touch my balls"?) Then we went to see Rihanna who was great and cemented her name as a Pop Star rather than a pop singer. Pendulum headlined, they were good, but I think my ears had gone by then because the volume seemed lower, also quite a short set and a lack of hits, I know it's a festival but they were headlining! Then we finished the night with Huw Stephens on the outdoor stage, he played anthem after anthem (Song 2 went down the best!!) and the crowd (all the proper hardcore! ) were well up for it, he ended with "North Wales" FANTASTIC. Huw Stephens was the perfect end to an amazing day. LEGEND.
  6. The idea of the internet streams was a fantastic one, not amazingly well executed though, I agree. I'd also agree that it should be given more BBC3 time. The event itself, the booking, the atmosphere etc was brilliant though, thanks Radio1!
  7. BIFFY, BIFFY, BIFFY! Really good. Huw Stepehens was also very good So were everyone tbh but these were the standouts
  8. Never noticed before but the bloke off of Stornoway has a remarkably similar voice to Kelly Rowland. Just as well they opened with a cover :L
  9. YES, YES, YES. Radio1 will surely win awards for this! Best coverage of a festival EVER!
  10. Aye. Not that that isn't good, but wouldn't a full live stream of the stages with sound be GREAT?! It would be nearly as good as being there!
  11. ? CAN I EDIT THE TITLE TO INCLUDE A '?' PLEASE? Last year the webcams were nice for a quick glance but a bit boring with no sound. There was some sort of confusion between Chris and the technician this morning when Chris suggested you could hear the sound-clash, if you can it will be AMAZING. I for one won't be off my computer all day!!!!!
  12. Just to get everyone in the mood. I've chosen a song from each artist (2 for the headliners) playing in Bangor and put them on the playlist. As well as being a nice mix of songs it's intended for you to go "Oooh I like these, I want to hear more" rather than being good songs from artists playing the festival (I think that sentence makes sense!) Missing artists: The Wonder Villains, I Am Austin, Menis, The Joy Formidable, Frankie & The Heartstrings, Beatbullyz. Saturday http://open.spotify.com/user/computer/playlist/1FLI0HFDJJHzcwCMUeTWw7 Sunday http://open.spotify.com/user/computer/playlist/2A0ltADAIEEOaric1XaiJJ
  13. I'd love to go to Wireless (a friend desperately want to see Jay Z) or Wakestock (close to me) but I'm on holiday that weekend. The one day Prodigy fest in Milton Keynes looks ace but no one wants to come with me
  14. Off of wikipedia so it must be true!
  15. Grimmy is dating Florence off of the Machine

    Dev.

I agree. However we all said the same about Greg when he was on earlies; now look at him, right at home in the afternoons
  17. I've got through on the 3 occasions I've tried (Chris, Scott and Max). Perseverance is the trick Also it gets less busy after the lines have been open for a while. Have any tickets been given away today yet?
  18. I'd prefer Tom Deacon or Reggie tbh. It's quite puzzling why he ain't getting no daytime cover isn't it? Tom Deacon should cover Scott's show while Sara's away methinks, he's proven himself to be quite funny, him and Beccy could be good.
  19. I'm too young to vote, but, if I could I'd have voted Plaid Cymru. (Haven't voted in this poll either btw, just thought I'd chuck in my tuppence)
  20. Couple of kids from school got in. I Hopes to win one of the competitions now, otherwise it's the "reject's rave" for me :L
  21. NO. I'm now Determined to find Aled when he's here.
  22. Yep. Me. Unlucky. So were all my friends. We're five bloody miles away. Gutted.
