  1. TY! LOL! (Thank you! Laugh Out Loud!)
  2. The Smurfs Go Pop Boyzone (Mom wanted to go, I didn't want to be left out) So many - This Morning With Richard Not Judy, Friday Night Armistice, Shooting Stars (yes, even as an 8 year old), etc. Kids-wise, any of the typical teen stuff - Saved By The Bell, Hang Time, California Teens, USA High, etc.
  3. Fattist. I rejoined my gym today, so I'll be raping it for all its worth from tomorrow.
  4. I wonder how they're gonna find 2hr59m of filler for that.
  5. Thank God. Now Matt can dedicate more time to being a douchebag on Twitter and not annoying us with his stupid patronising shitty radio voice and wannabe-Simon Amstell persona. F*ck off, twat.
  6. Yes, he is. Chris referenced him within the first minute of the show this morning.
  7. I'm sure that one is used as a general monitor for websites and such, when a presenter is talking about a site they found or if they just wanna check Google for something.
  8. If singers couldn't swear then Nine Inch Nails would be celibate, Slipknot wouldn't have anything to equate people to, and Rage Against The Machine would be doing what you tell them.
  9. I have several paid workers who take it in turn to post for me. This one is written by Steve from Saskatchewan, Canada.
  10. And who else would not only fight for all the things he's allowed to get away with, but also be allowed by Radio One to fight for all those things? Chris is the last of a dying breed. Once Chris and Scott are gone, everyone else is a contracted piece of the Radio One puzzle that will conform or be lost in the shuffle.
  11. Can't listen to Scott's hack radio schtick on a morning. Sara is fine. Huw, meh. Greg, meh. Never heard Dev but I've seen him get a slating. May have to check him some time.
  12. The show would be better with all that, plus: Where Am I with Tim Westwood. A 9am Tedious Link. Less music, more talking. Chris presenting, instead of Scott.
  13. Ugh. I'll be skipping the show that week. Cannot deal with Scott at breakfast.
  14. Other than the fact that it isn't. But why let facts get in the way of a good argument? Nor did my last one. Nor does yours of you. But thanks, nonetheless.
  15. The flipside to this argument being that when the threads are separate, they end up purely being full of discussion about why we need so many separate threads or how stupid Viv's thread title is.
  16. I'd credit any 12 year old with a sense of humour if they had the talent to convey it. If I'm wrong about his attitude, then clearly he's just a shit actor who needs some lessons.
  17. Well that's for another thread but I think the fact that the show itself has felt the need to defend the interview is pretty telling.
  18. So we didn't like Diana Vickers because she was full of herself even though she showed absolutely nothing of the sort, but we loved Jaden Smith who made for an awkward, sometimes uncomfortable interview that the Moyles show has actually had to preempt whilst promoting the replay that Jaden was smiling throughout, because it was blazingly obvious how bad it came off. Right. Jackie Chan was fun, but the lazy kung-fu stereotype accents pissed me the fuck off because it was such lowest common denominator shit and I was very impressed with his professionalism for putting up with it when anyone else would have told them to get screwed. And Jaden wasn't particularly interesting or pleasant to listen to. I know he's 12 but he's clearly trying to be the too-cool-for-school kid and whatever smile was supposedly on his face certainly didn't come through in audio form. One of the worst interviews I've heard in a long, LONG time from the show.
  19. Whatever he saw in her just didn't come off in her interview. It was banter that appealed to her personality. People are reading far too much into what she said. I'm not questioning her mental state - she's a few leprechauns short of a box of Lucky Charms, but she's just trying to be accepted in the mainstream world and sometimes people fall over themselves a little when tackling certain lines and styles of interviewing. This "full of herself" nonsense is just that. If anything, she seemed nervous and people can overcompensate in certain areas when that's the case.
  20. Exactly what I got from listening to it too. She was quirky, shall we say, but didn't seem arrogant or in her own bubble at all.
  21. I treated myself to a ticket to see KoRn in October at the place where I work (should have tried for a free ticket but too late now) as a late birthday present. They're my favourite band and this'll be the fifth time of seeing them - the first with their current line-up - so I'm excited and as such have treated myself to a KoRn day with the new album AND the live gig in the middle of a crop circle that they recorded (http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music.videos&videoId=105785660). So it's been quite a good, easy day.
