  1. I like what I have heard from the album. Its unapologetic happy music.
  2. Kelly, forgive my ignorance, but if you know now that you might be on Your Call (my favourite bit of the show), that indicates a measure of pre-preparation if not actually pre-recording of the feature. So why does Scott tell us right up to the last minute of Your Call to call in? Are we, the listening public, being mislead in some way?! Surely no-one on the Scott Mills show would ever represent a situation as completely on the level if in fact it were not.......would they?!
  3. He wouldn't turn it down if it was offered. But I wonder if that isn't what Dick and Dom are being groomed for.
  4. Flat pack is the invention of Satan.
  5. I hear that is a notorious blackspot for disappearances.
  6. Edith is either Comet or Curry's, one of those.
  7. Technically that isn't possible. It can appear on the TV at "some point", or it can appear on TV "over and over". But the two things are mutually exclusive, so it can't appear "at some point over and over again", unless you mean in a variety of alternative realities. If you believe in them, which I don't. But that is just an opinion. The other is pedantry, good solid pedantry. Are you sure you don't like me being lovey-dovey?!
  8. I think that was what made my blood run cold - when he had finished the 314mph run and said "I feel so alive!" - and we all knew what was coming. Truly freaked me out.
  9. I found it really distressing - I kept thinking we were listening to what actually should have been a man's last words, and watching what should have been his final moments of life. I found it really distressing. But Top Gear was great. Does anyone agree that Hammond still looks a bit unwell - it might just be that he has lost weight or something, but he looks very thin and worn. But then expecting him to look in the peak of health is probably asking a bit much, whatever he says about being completely better.
  10. That is exactly what I do. Its really the only way.
  11. Ema, what a nightmare! But you coped, you got home, and you now know that travelling places you don't know by train holds no fears that you can't manage! Think of it as a growth experience!
  12. You are one sweet Geezer.
  13. I watched Top Gear. Really wish CBB and BB would go away and never come back.

    Smoothies

I really don't like them, all that pureed fruit just makes me bloat! I'd rather eat some fruit and have a drink of - well, I suppose it should be milk, but I'm not 8 years old any more, so I would have a cup of tea!
  15. Don't worry Jono, I'm saving it all up for later......
  16. Isn't there supposed to be some profound significance to flying dreams? Damned if I can remember what, but I'm sure it is psychologically important somehow.
  17. They know how to eat, the French do!
  18. You're probably right Jono, I am very aware of my tendency to be over-analytical about things. Its not always the best thing to do!
  19. I've never even heard of it - what is it?
  20. No, I'm not. I will have some home made chicken soup and organic wholemeal bread instead - all of which is really lovely, but when what you really want is a Big Mac, ............*sighs*
  21. Absolutely. There are people here though who take any criticism of The Show and The People very personally though. Sometimes it can resemble a temple rather than a fan site.
  22. Sorry, its just the way the studio light is reflecting off his.....seam......I find myself horribly fascinated!
  23. You know you are junk-deprived when you find yourself positively craving a Big Mac. I haven't had a McDonalds for years, I never really even liked them - but because I'm not able to have one now, I really want one........
  24. I don't hate them, I love them......and also, in case anyone misunderstands, I'm not saying that there is nothing of the real people in the "characters" as I presented it, of couse it is presumably basically them, their personalities (except I suspect Laura is a lot smarter than they present her) - just exaggerated, like a caricature. I have always liked Chappers, from when he used to be on breakfast.
