As the furore over Rihanna's S&M continues to dominate the news today, BBC Radio 1 finally chose to the play the song in full during the daytime.
Despite previously banning the song from the playlist and waiting for a censored version of the song before playing it, the station took a u-turn earlier.
The song was played out during Fearne Cotton's morning show - at a time when producers believed most children were at school and would not be listening.

As we reported earlier last month, Scott Mills will be at the forefront of this year's Comic Relief activity, as he takes part in a 100km trek across the Kenyan desert.

Rihanna is raging after hearing BBC Radio 1 play a new censored version of S&M - which was finally allowed a play after a short ban on the track.
The song was given a play under a new name of "Come On" by Reggie Yates during this week's chart show when it charted at Number 20.
The lyrics including "sex in the air" and "chains and whips excite me"were edited to make it worthy of a play during the day. The letters"S&M" have, of course, also been removed.

"Scott Bills strikes again" joked Mills on Wednesday as he talked about an event that happened in America a little while ago where he borrowed one of Robbie Williams' cars.
Scott had been in America when he met up with Robbie and offered one of his cars for a couple of days instead of using a hire car firm.
The DJ took up the offer - despite a history of accidentally racking up some unpaid traffic fines in the past - and used the car while in the states.

Scott Mills' documentary World's Worst Place to be Gay? will air on BBC Three at 9pm on 14th February 2011.
The documentary saw Scott visit Uganda which has been branded one of the most dangerous places to be a homosexual on earth.
One reporter who has seen a preview of the documentary said he programme made her "want to shout at the television" while at other times made her "want to cry".
