Bobbi Bunker spent much of her Saturday morning on Radio 1 talking about The Traitors, but not for the reasons you'd expect. Rather than fancying herself as a sneaky traitor or a loyal faithful, Bobbi confessed the show's real appeal lies elsewhere entirely. "The only reason that I want to go on the Traitors… is for the breakfast buffet, babes," she said, running through an enthusiastic list of imagined pastries, yoghurts and scones on offer in the famous Scottish castle.
Elsewhere in the show, Bobbi shared some unexpectedly practical advice picked up from her own mum, recommending listeners layer up with a vest under their top now the temperatures have dropped. She admitted she used to find the idea mortifying as a kid getting changed for PE, but has fully come round to her mum's thinking. She also ran through a quickfire list of other maternal wisdom, including never going out with wet hair and always checking washing labels, after one of her own jumpers shrank dramatically in the tumble dryer.
Music-wise, Bobbi gave an airing to new music from Jungle, teasing their upcoming tour, and flagged that Radio 1 is deep into Live Lounge Month, name-checking recent sessions from Blossoms and Nothing But Thieves, with Royal Blood lined up for 30 October. She also spotlighted Interplanetary Criminal and Silver Bumper's new single, pointing out it samples the old Nokia 3310 ringtone.
