Susie Dent made poonami respectable
The previous day’s discovery had not gone away.
Scott wanted somebody authoritative to confirm that poonami was a real word.
So he contacted Susie Dent from *Countdown* and asked whether she could make it her word of the day.
She obliged with a voice note.
Susie explained that the 21st-century term was a portmanteau of poo and tsunami, describing an overwhelming infant explosion that a nappy could barely contain.
For Scott and Chris, that was enough.
Dictionary Corner had spoken.
The show then began editing the word into songs, including Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain on Me”.
Two Hollywood stars had played one of their games
The pair revealed that during the previous week’s extreme heat they had been sent to a hotel for a film junket with Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, stars of *The Gray Man*.
Junkets were a strange broadcasting environment.
Presenters waited in corridors, were allocated a tiny number of minutes and watched celebrity after celebrity move through the same cycle of interviews.
Instead of asking only standard film questions, Scott and Chris had taken Your Video or Adult Video with them.
They had gathered real comments from *The Gray Man* trailer and mixed them with comments from adult videos.
Chris Evans and Ana de Armas had to decide which was which.
Both stars quickly committed to the game.
One comment about getting better “with every watch” prompted a full discussion about whether somebody might genuinely stop and restart an adult video several times.
The full interview would air the following Monday.
Hand sanitiser nearly ruined Scott’s entrance
The build-up had almost gone wrong before the interview began.
Scott arrived at the hotel flustered and overheated.
Wanting to look respectable before meeting major Hollywood actors, he attempted to sanitise his hands.
The dispenser fired sanitiser directly across his black T-shirt, leaving a highly visible suspicious-looking stain moments before he was due to walk into the room.
Producer Amy had already been stressed by the logistics of her first major film junket.
At one point Ryan Gosling walked past while she was too busy dealing with a phone problem to fully enjoy the moment.
The audience began sending final memories
The show was now actively asking listeners for voice notes about the moments they remembered.
The idea was not simply to hear the obvious famous clips.
Scott wanted the tiny conversations, songs, recurring jokes and bizarre incidents they had forgotten themselves.
The messages would help build the final weeks.
Even he admitted he was in denial about leaving.
It still did not quite feel real.
Made in Chelsea or Disney Prince returned
Producer Amy brought back Made in Chelsea or Disney Prince.
Names including Tristan Phipps, Kristoff Bjorgman and John Smith forced Scott and Chris to decide whether they belonged in SW3 or an animated fairytale.
Kristoff from *Frozen* and John Smith from *Pocahontas* were Disney.
Tristan Phipps belonged to Chelsea.
The fact the round worked at all remained one of its greatest strengths.
