Rylan showed Scott a folder he had somehow never noticed
Scott had received a voice note from Rylan about an iPhone feature he had completely missed.
Every screenshot automatically goes into its own album.
Scott knew his phone could identify people in photographs and perform surprisingly clever searches, but he had never explored the screenshots folder.
When he opened it, the number was extraordinary.
There were 43,957 screenshots.
Scott began scrolling through them expecting scandal and discovered that much of the collection was simply recipes, dogs, cakes and pictures of his own home screen.
He found a sausage-pasta recipe he had clearly saved with good intentions and then never looked at again.
Listeners checked their own folders and discovered everything from wedding-dress ideas to engagement rings and evidence of conversations they had screenshotted to send to somebody else.
Tulisa entered Innuendo Bingo
The week of new Innuendo Bingo continued with Tulisa.
She joined Chris in the separate boxes and immediately became part of the experiment in whether the famous Radio 1 feature could be both safer and just as chaotic.
The answer remained yes.
The Perspex prevented direct spray between the contestants, but Tulisa and Chris still ended up soaked by their own failed attempts to hold the water in.
By the third day, the novelty of the boxes had not worn off.
Seeing a celebrity calmly agree to place their head inside one was still funny before Scott had even played the first clip.
Father’s Day brought back a legendary radio failure
With Father’s Day approaching, listeners were also requesting favourite old moments from the programme.
One obvious choice was the New Zealand radio clip in which a contestant was given the answer “Sunday” and had to work backwards to supply the question “What day is Father’s Day?”
Despite repeatedly understanding that Father’s Day was on Sunday, the caller struggled to phrase the required question.
Scott and Chris still found it almost impossibly funny years later.
The afternoon managed to connect tens of thousands of screenshots, Tulisa being drenched and one of radio’s great failed quiz answers.
