30 March 2022: Snoop Dogg’s candle collection led Scott and Chris down a merch rabbit hole

Snoop Dogg had merchandise for everything

A listener in America spotted Snoop Dogg rosé wine.

That sent Scott and Chris searching through the rest of Snoop’s commercial empire.

They found slippers with his face on them, rolling papers, phone cases with built-in lighters and a peaches and cream candle.

The candle immediately sounded like a possible prize for the programme.

The deeper they looked, the clearer it became that Snoop Dogg branding could apparently be attached to almost anything.

Scott had once eaten a whole chicken on the move

Something Greg James had mentioned earlier triggered a confession from Scott.

Years earlier, hungry on his way home, he had bought an entire hot rotisserie chicken from a supermarket.

Rather than wait until he got home, he ate it while travelling.

Not sliced.

Not in a sandwich.

He held the whole bird in both hands and worked through it.

Chris had known Scott for years and somehow never heard the story.

Granny Tinder reviewed the men

Granny Tinder returned to evaluate possible matches for her granddaughter.

One profile belonged to Elias, a 24-year-old semi-professional tennis player whose biography was packed with singles, doubles and grunting jokes.

The grunting was enough to put Granny off even after the show explained the tennis reference.

The quiz then played BBC Three: Real or No Real, asking whether absurd-sounding programme titles had genuinely existed.

And because it was Wednesday, Bamboleo inevitably arrived too.
