22 September 2008: Scott went back to the charity shop to inspect his donated clothes

Scott expected more from his charity donation

Scott had cleared out four bin bags of clothes and donated them to a charity shop. Feeling pleased with himself, he later returned and discovered none of the items had been placed prominently in the window. A perfectly generous act immediately acquired a trace of wounded celebrity ego.

He started looking for his own things

Rather than simply accepting that the shop knew how to arrange its stock, Scott went looking for the nicer shirts and other clothes he remembered donating. The team enjoyed the idea that he had somehow expected an instant Scott Mills collection, complete with display space and recognition.

Pete Tong and Ross Kemp supplied the language problems

Elsewhere, Ross Kemp discussion produced predictable gang-related wordplay, while a street survey asked the public to describe Pete Tong in three words. One of the memorable descriptions was “hobo”, and the strange phrase “horse for one bin” returned as the sort of listener-created language the show could keep alive long after its original context had disappeared.
