Halloween fancy dress had become ridiculous
Scott had noticed that almost anything could now be sold as a “sexy” Halloween costume.
Normal jobs, food and objects were being turned into increasingly unlikely outfits.
The show decided to personalise the idea.
Take the thing you were genuinely frightened of and turn it into a sexy Halloween costume.
Listeners immediately proved the format could produce almost anything.
There was sexy buttons, inspired by somebody with a real fear of buttons.
One caller offered sexy daddy long legs.
Another suggested sexy undercooked pasty after a particularly unpleasant breakfast experience.
One listener’s fear became the extraordinarily specific sexy person holding the door open when you are still too far away, complete with the awkward little run required to reach them.
Scott admitted some of the costumes would be almost impossible to make.
That was not the point.
The title alone was enough.
Jack & Jack played 10 Seconds To
Jack & Jack, connected with Jonas Blue’s “Rise”, visited the studio and played 10 Seconds To.
The pair were given rapid prompts and had only seconds to respond.
Scott liked the game because guests had no time to build a polished promotional answer.
The first reaction was usually much more revealing, or at least much sillier.
Innuendo Bingo was being stockpiled
Although Innuendo Bingo was not currently running, listeners were still sending Scott and Chris clips they believed belonged in the game.
An *EastEnders* line involving Dot Cotton and Robbie Jackson was added to the growing bank.
Scott promised the feature would return.
For now, listeners were effectively acting as volunteer researchers.
Bamboleo Wednesday survived another week
Bamboleo Wednesday returned with another collection of old show audio inserted into the instrumental break.
Scott and Chris had spent the afternoon inventing sexy versions of people’s phobias.
Bamboleo was almost the normal part of the programme.
