A quick review from us as we’ve all been very busy with one thing or another, but here’s the low-down from Wednesday’s show.
Where’s Laura
Rumour has it she was sacked, I’d argue she deserves to be after her sucking-up interview with Hilary Duff last week – but Scott reassures us she’s on a course. It’s not a course for good interviewing tactics either. She’ll be back sometime soon.
…What about Chappers?
Chappers was in the same place as Colin Murray, which sounds rather suspicious doesn’t it. He was actually preparing for a charity match in Reading – Germany Legends vs England Legends. It all sounds rather professional until you actually read who played. What did you think of his hair? There’s a vote on the forum – hot or not? He’s skiving for a day but was still bringing the news bulletins and was in a studio in Reading to chat to Scott.
Brokeback Westwood! Holler!
Today Scott discovered in Heat that Westwood’s favourite movie is Brokeback Mountain. Hmmm, think about it. And to help you think about it Scott had a very funny montage of the movie with Westwood’s sayings on top of it. Crack is wack! The Mills Degree
There’s a degree in David Beckham, so Scott thinks there should be a degree in Mills. This all came about when a group of English students called in to say they’re studying Scott’s voice techniques for their A Levels. They had a clip of Scott off of Early Breakfast in 2001 where his dating advice didn’t quite go to plan. What’s new – Scott Mills, breaking up partners since 2001. So would you be interested in a Mills degree. A practical in pranking people, phones are allowed but you’d have to lose them and you have to break up at least one couple.
Life Swap – The Auction
In an ebay style auction Scott was giving away Toby’s stuff (read yesterday’s review). Lot 1 included a large wrestler, and a Homer Simpson alarm clock, but should they be given away? The listeners didn’t think so. So Toby has been spared of these items. But there’s still Lot 2 to be given away. Tune in tomorrow for that…
