Highlights from the show
Afternoon treac. It's Wednesday afternoon and it's me Jono, here to bring you the gossip from Scott's show and the One Night with Laura tour.
Good Mornin' Nottingham!
Laura's been unlucky in love for a while now, but that's all going to change, as it's One Night with Laura, and today the tour is in Nottingham. Chappers had finally perked up at the beginning of the show. Scott had been asleep all day today after the auditions at Cardiff. They were taking things very seriously there compared to Southampton. Lots of crap poetry, weird stories and some very confused people. Day Three and the bus wasn't smelling that bad according to Scott. There was one problem at the time of going on the air – Laura had boiled the kettle and the kettle had left for the middle of Southampton. Miserable Chappers is off the judging panel as of today as he had a monitor set up under his desk that he was watching during auditions. Instead, Jo Whiley is on!
He couldn't do it on the tour bus… so he thought he'd do it whilst no one was looking…
Yesterday they met auditionee Gareth. He thought Scott's ears were a lot smaller than the pictures on the internet, and he wasn't sure on how many girlfriends he's had.
Gareth: What real ones?
Chappers: No blow up ones!
He's had a few girlfriends he hasn't actually liked. Then Laura's dad wanted to know if he could get him some cider. He then played the harmonica. Random and a tad bit drunk. So Laura's dad let him through…
The origami championships had been a bit of a let down…
We also met Joseph. His hair was enough to make you laugh, and he's had so many girlfriends it averaged to around 59 – one lasted 2 years. And he's only 22! Could Laura be lucky girl 60, I don't think so some how…
One Chat with Laura

Today Laura was online doing a live webchat for 30 minutes of the show talking about One Night with Laura. Answering my question she said she'd found the whole tour very bizzare. She says she's up for long distance relationships and finding her Mr Right is something she's wanted to do for a long time. She says she wants to be married by next month and says Mary will make a guest appearance on the judging panel. If there was ever a movie, she wants John Cleese to play her dad. Laura reveals Scott's biggest fear is the word 'panties'. She found that out this week.
We also had Tim, who loved the diaries, and the imagery used in the diary. Tim was prepared to go on spontaneous adventures such as the Viking Festivals.
Chappers – At this point the game was over, so I was frantically searching for anything – TV Naughtiest Blunders, Mad About Alice, whatever!
Laura's Dad – I'd like to go out with you!
Cringies
As Laura said, panties is a word that makes Scott cringes. It's not only panties, its jobbies and several other words ending with 'ies' which are a dislike of Scott's.

Laura the Vigilante
It's York's answer to Anthea Turner – Laura Sayers. Today Laura was on toilet patrol in Nottingham. And she was after those who go to the toilet and don't wash their hands. Naturally she avoided the female loos and went straight to the men’s. Scott was most concerned about those who don't wash their hands after being in the pub, and eating free nuts on the side. One man got the full Laura with a megaphone treatment.
Laura (on megaphone): Was it a Number 1 or a Number 2?
She has no shame that girl…
