The Google Game becomes revealing again
The opening phrase for the Google Game is “Is it cheating if…”, immediately sending Scott and Chris into celebrity lists, dreams and fancy dress. They agree that dreaming about somebody famous is harmless, until the famous person is sufficiently accessible to become a real possibility.

The Bromley parade eventually arrives
Scott switches on Bromley's Christmas lights after spending a very long time filling on stage while the parade slowly travels along the high street. He thanks the Snow Queen for her performance and Mayor Ian for an extensive conversation, although Ian refuses to let him try on the mayoral chain.

Two very different ceremonies
Scott and Chris compare their previous evenings. Scott attended the Student Radio Awards and delivered his speech with a selection of Donald Trump hand gestures, while Chris switched on the Christmas lights at Watford's intu shopping centre alongside players including Troy Deeney.

Scott returns with airborne mash
Scott returns from holiday looking suspiciously refreshed, although he insists nothing has been altered. His principal discovery is much less glamorous: mashed potato mixed with gravy tastes completely different on an aeroplane, and he now considers the strange in-flight mush one of the highlights of the trip.

Craig David delivers the chocolate
Radio 1's unpredictability is demonstrated when Craig David walks into the studio, gives Scott a quick hug and hands him an enormous bar of chocolate without explanation. Craig appears to be distributing several bars around the building, making him an unexpectedly early Father Christmas.

Innuendo Bingo accompanies a driving test
Sophie passes her driving test at the second attempt after arranging for Radio 1 to be playing in the car. She wanted something familiar to calm her nerves but forgot that the test would coincide with Innuendo Bingo.

Scott watches the Strictly Come Dancing launch and is startled by Judge Rinder's dancing ability and previously concealed six-pack. Listeners begin using “Ripped Rinder”, while Scott's former partner Joanne Clifton has moved on to a new celebrity and he insists he is completely relaxed about it.

Scott returns from a short break in Madrid and Chris confronts him about an unanswered call and an unusually late voicemail. Scott rarely leaves messages, so Chris assumed something serious had happened. The recording contains little more than laughter and a demand to know what is “amazing”.
