Benji B just mentioned he's performing at Notting Hill Carnival on Sunday. Is there a Radio 1 float & if so, what other DJs are on it? Jerry would be quite good since soundsystem culture is intrinsic to carnival.

Shame Benji B isn't joining Sian, think he has after previous dance weekends & they've done a good show together

Wonder if someone at R1 is taking tips from here; I remember @BBCAaron suggesting Group Chat around a year ago as a daytime topical discussion programme similar to Life Hacks

Interesting Jack mentioned they've got new studios at Maida Vale; you'd think, with the move to Stratford, they wouldn't bother update the studios so close to the end...

Agree, those sound effects are annoying & sound silly. Some people find Jack a bit annoying, the effects won't help.

I remember seeing on DS that BBC3 now is like a caricature of its initial self, especially with the Two Pints repeats 😄

I noticed on Friday that DJs were making a more concerted effort not to mention brands. Previously, they'd mention AirPods, TikTok, various supermarkets amongst other things. However, when Matt went to say Find My Friends (an Apple app), he said "Find My..." then tailed off. After a song, they referred to the app when reading texts as "Find Friends". Then, when Jack referred to TikTok on Chart, he called it the "clock app". Wonder if Aled's had a chat with them?

Pre recorded I think as Martha said "We've gathered your messages over the last few days but don't send any more because we can't see them". Still, good show. You can tell Annie & Martha had a good bond.
