  1. Slammmmmmm! Completely lost track of what year we're on now though.
  2. Backwards?! I've been away too long! Hey Grace! Hmmm...I do recognise this song, but I have no idea what it is.
  3. 1996: Soul II Soul - Keep On Moving 1997: Beck - The New Pollution (I admit Google helped a bit with that one, I knew it was Beck just didn't know the song!) 1998: All Seeing Eye - And The Beat Goes On Pffft, Scott spoiled the next one. 1999: Goo Goo Dolls - Iris (they were so good at V! ) Does no one play this game anymore?!
  4. I've got headphones in, they help!
  5. Geeeeeks! I'm here and ready for the Wonder Years. (I bet this is where you all tell me it's been cancelled this week...)

    I'm engaged!

Congratulations! Everyone gets a birthday picture from me, so it's only fair that you get a picture too.
  7. I know exactly what you mean, I was always like that with my uni work. I just couldn't do the work without the pressure of an upcoming deadline. When I did my Masters, I stayed up late to work on quite a few occasions and always got quite good marks. It just shows, leaving things to the last minute can pay off!
  8. Today at work, Armbrose Harcourt called in. That probably means nothing to any of you, but he used to present one of those late night love shows on my local radio station. (Southern FM - actually, his name might mean something to Lucinda.) It made my actual day! He sounded just like he did on the radio, but he was calling to complain about something and was bit angry so I didn't say anything.
  9. Another vote for New York here. I also really want to go to Prague, Slovakia, and other places in central/Eastern Europe. My geography skills are rubbish!
  10. Nope, they're Transformer crisps. I don't know why I know these things... I don't even really like crisps. Although I do quite like these. Whenever my sister and I eat them in the car, we have to do the same thing as the bear we're about to eat. Very immature, quite amusing, and probably very distracting for other drivers!
  11. It's Craig's birthday and we both have the day off work. Yippeeee!

  13. I really hope we don't have a summer like last year. I'm not sure I can cope with all that rain again. I'm sure they were some sunny days, but I was probably stuck indoors writing my dissertation and/or working!
  14. Van Halen - Jump  It's cheesey, very 80s, and I love it!
  15. Cherish by Ghost. I'd never heard about it or smelt it before, but Craig got me some for Christmas and it smells gorgeous. I was very impressed! I alternate between that a Clinique Happy, depending on my mood!
  16. It woke me up, which was strange as usually I'm a heavy sleeper. I was really confused when it woke me up, for some reason I thought it was my housemate shaking my bed even though my bed is built in therefore it's not possible to shake it. It felt really strong here in Nottingham, so I can only imagine what it felt like in the centre of it. I woke up this morning and honestly thought I dreamt the whole thing, it wasn't until I turned the TV on this morning and saw the news that I realised it'd actually happened! It feels really surreal, I'm still a bit freaked out about it to be honest. I've felt an earthquake before when I was in Trinidad, but it's the last thing I'd expect to happen here.
  17. As per usual, Ellis Hollins (the little boy who plays Tom) was excellent in the episodes I watched today. I swear he's one of the best actors in that show! I thought all the scenes with Max and O.B. were really touching, especially the 'flashbacks'. Usually they're quite cheesey, but I thought it was quite sweet. I shed a few tears at the end of the episode (the one which was on E4 today). I'm such a soppy idiot!
  18. I really want to go on the Big Wheel (www.nottinghameye.co.uk) before it closes this week. I had a little stop in town on Saturday evening because no one wanted to go on with me. It involved my sulky face and I stomped my foot a little bit. I'm old enough to know better! No one payed any attention to me anyway...
  19. Pay off my loans, buy a house (preferably buy this one from my landlord), buy my sister a house, take my boyfriend all my friends away on holiday, learn to drive, buy all the CDs/DVDs/DS games I've ever wanted... that'll do for starters. Just thought of something else... I'd buy my Mum a plane ticket to Trinidad so she can go and see her Mum.
  20. Just watched the second episode. (Thanks Seb!) Can't believe how much of a psycho that girl was. I though the scenes with her and her mother were really well acted, you could really feel her frustration about the situation. Looking forward to more of the same, hopefully! Sorry for being a sheep, but when did Maxxie get so hot? Yum yum! Yes please.
  21. Thanks Tim - I tried doing that, but was presented with the following error message before I even got to that folder: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents is not accessible Access is denied
  22. The guy who does the voiceover for one of the Colegate ads (I think it was Colegate...) sounds a lot like Greg James. What I've heard of him, anyway.
