  4. Hey Bex! Im great thanks :) how are you? Hows the weather where you are? And what are you up to this weekend? x

  5. I aspire to be like Nick Grimshaw, surrounded by celebs. I decided to work towards this from a young age.
  6. Turns out Zoe goes to a school about a 15 minute walk from where I live. I'm glad Arjun won. My favourite from about the 2nd episode onwards, didn't think he would win though as he wasn't a great leader in that team of him, Emma and Zoe, and he didn't seem to have that much influence in all the other tasks he's been in, sort of coasting in the back while taking charge of the calculator. But I'm very glad he won, seems like a genuinely nice, honest and respectful guy. He really excelled in the final task. So did Tim too actually. Come to think of it, everyone (even Zoe) upped their game and excelled in the final task which was nice. I really liked 'A bottle of water'. Something I'd happily by myself. Wasn't a fan of either of the adverts though.
  7. R Kelly was there?! I was at work so missed the games and I was too tired to watch MOTD earlier. (How was Colin by the way?) I hope I get entranced into this tournament. I'm not into international football at all, but I want to like it if you know what I mean. Although having said that, I did love the Euro in 2008.
  8. But you're in school and posting here? The wonders of technology, eh..
  9. Wait a minute, you weren't born in 1994! :o

  10. Oh, and by the way

I am your first friend on here! :D :D :D

  11. Hello (: I don't worship you, but hi anyway. Who's Sam? lol

  12. Annalie, we'll talk later too :!: Back on subject, if Andy Parfitt decides to get rid of a DJ will he do just that or will he talk to his colleagues at R2 and 6Music and BBC TV to see if they could be incorporated somehow into those station's schedules. It'll soften the blow if they simply transfer from one station to another rather than a termination of contract or sacking. I think Jo Whiley and in a few years time Edith, Sara and Chris would (or could) slot nicely into Radio 2. My 102th post!
  13. This might be wrong (mainly 'cause I'm making this up as I go along), but could you say something like people may put themselves before and above anyone else and not interfere with other people's lives because they feel that God has set out a path for everyone and they don't want to get in the way of that path, or interrupt karma and eternal destiny. Complete BS but thats the sort of rubbish that got me through English the last 4 or 5 years..
  14. You've just made me laugh out loud That was a slight misunderstanding, we'll talk later EDIT - My 100th post 8)
  15. I'm not a fan of his either! But thats beside the point I was making
  16. I don't think age is a reason to get of rid of DJs. If they're relevant to and connect with the 15-24 target audience and are performing well ratings-wise then there's no reason to get rid of those DJs. Tim Westwood, Chris Moyles, Sara Cox, Scott Mills, Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Trevor Nelson, Judge Jules are all in their 30s, 40s or 50s but appeal to younger audiences. If it ain't broke don't fix it. And I'd be pretty sure that Andy Parfitt feels the same, so I doubt there'd be any Bannister-esque changes any time soon. I don't think Vernon's TV work is a reason to get rid of him. As far as I'm aware he doesn't take a ridiculously large amount of time off as Fearne did when she was on weekends. He seems pretty committed to his show, even doing the show following the revelations about those naughty texts he was sending where many others would hide away to escape the media for a few weeks.
  17. But I like the beard! And his interesting fashion sense  Haha And I also love Annie and her hair ..No joking there!

    Election 2010

The David Laws thing is a shame, even though he's to the right of the Lib Dems, he's one poltiician that I actaully like and have genuine respect for even though he seemed all too keen to get close to the Tories for my liking. I very much doubt he deliberately aimed to mislead or cheat the taxpaper, just wanted to keep his private life private. I wish him the best in whatever he does next, and I'm sure he'll be back on the frontbench in the near future. What I find hard to understand is how and why this revelation about his expenses has only just been let out in the public domain by the Daily Telegraph months after this whole expenses 'scandal' thing first started. How did they know at the time that they should hold on to that information, because Laws was pretty much unheard of by most prior to this coalition.
  20. What?! :x :| EDIT - Actually, this isn't such a bad thing. It will be nice to hear someone different covering on daytimes. Will be good to hear the handover with Moyles and Greg, and him with Matt Edmondson.
  21. For me, for an album to be considered to be one of the greatest ever it needs to be more than just a collection of great songs, but ones that are important in its own context whatever that may be, and stand the test of time and will forever be remembered, loved and adored, and will stick out amongst the millions of other albums. D'Angelo - Brown Sugar Jay Z - The Blueprint Outkast - Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (but it's only really The Love Below that I liove) Bob Marley - Exodus Erykah Badu - Baduizm, & New Amerykah 1: 4th World War, & New Amerykah 2: Return of the Ankh Jill Scott - Who is Jill Scott? Kanye West - 808s & Heartbreaks, & Late Registration Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill The Fugees - The Score Amy Winehouse - Back to Black Lupe Fiasco - The Cool Jamiroquai - Emergency on Planet Earth Kelis - Kaleidoscope and possibly Destiny's Child - The Writings on the Wall, Starf**ker - Starf**ker, The XX - XX
  22. Is Tim the one with the beard? He's likeable but not good enough IMO. The 'pulse' joke was great though! It will be interesting to see how he copes as project manager next week, I just can't see him being much better or any more effective than Rhys was. Rhys was an awful manager and had to go but I was certain it was the bearded bloke Suralan would fire. Not a fan of Zoe, not at all, but when she's good she's very good. She a bit of a Katie Hopkins character. It's the mathematician (is his name Arjun?) that I like. Not seen much from him in terms of contributing to tasks but he seems like a great and nice guy. The guy with the braces who was sent home for being ill, was he ill in the previous weeks episodes? And what exactly was the problem? Lack of sleep and energy, or a bad cold? I wasn't a fan of his but did expect him to get pretty far. It's a shame he's had to leave. And on a seperate note, I loved the look Nick gave at the start of the show when Rhys' group were brainstorming and deciding on who should be PM. Really makes me miss Margaret, her facial expressions were priceless!
