I've just come back from seeing it! Brilliant film! Many times when I laughed out loud and when I was on the edge of my seat, and there was a point where I could sense tears weren't too far away. The bonus was that there were only about 8 of us (all adults) in the screening so it was more or less silent with no chattering or giggling from other audience members. There was also a guy with a strategically positioned camera according to my mate. I only saw it in 2D so I'd love to see it again in 3D.

Who are you thinking? I have a feeling if anyone goes it'll be Reggie. Possibly Vernon. But I still doubt there'll be any daytime departures this time round.

I can't see any major changes taking place this September. I doubt Jo or Edith or anyone else for that matter leaving the station all together (possibly Dev, but very unlikely) in order to make space, so unless Matt Edmondson does Friday early breakfast with Dev doing Mon-Thurs, I very much doubt Matt would get his own show this time round. I definately doubt he'll be going anywhere though, I think he's moreorless guaranteed a weekend slot or weekday early breakfast sometime within the next two years, but until then I guess he'll be back to weekend and early breakfast cover and his contributions to Fearne's show.

I'm not a fan of Fearne, neither am I a Fearnehater, but I have to stand up for her here. Compared to her days with Reggie on the chart she doesn't take anywhere as much holiday as she use to. She's committed to the show, and while her holidays may be a hell of a lot more generous than what plebs like me are entitled to, they're few and far between, about a week or two off every two months (it's not that bad.) And if she's using the majority of her time away from her R1 show to do television work, then it's hardly a 'holiday' as such, at least from her point of view I'd imagine. The demands and intensity of filming probably means she considers her daily radio show to be a holiday Besides, it means more Annie Mac and Sara Cox for us anyway And also, I'm sure I heard on here or DS that both Fearne and Greg had seen slight increases in their listening figures. Even if that wasn't the case, I don't think Mr Parfitt would be as brash and decisive to move her from that slot so soon.

I suppose it became obvious early on that 6 Music would be saved, the campaign against it's closure was more vocal than the BBC could ever have anticipated. But closing the Asian Network is a huuuuuge mistake!

I didn't really enjoy the last series of Top Gear (Except the last episode of that series), I thought everything was too predictable, too scripted and OTT. Yesterdays episode was brilliant! The Reliant Robin bit Jeremy did at the end had me howling with laughter constantly, and James May's trek up the volcano was really interesting. I wanted to find out a bit more about deaths relating to Reliant Robins, so when I searched something along the lines of 'Robin Reliant Crash' one page that came up was from a local newspaper reporting of how Clarkson, when filming for TG, turned the car onto its side while driving too fast but escaped uninjured because he was wearing a crash helmet. He was also breathalysed byt he police

Did you by any chance see the 'Dispatches: How to Save £100 Billion. Live' show on Monday. Was quite interesting, only just watched it myself though. 600 people in the audience voting on where they'd cut services and raise taxes, and start charging etc and to what extent in order to cut the deficit. I think the measures the audience voted in favour of equalled about £78 billion in total. Worth checking out on 4oD if you can, quite boring the start with but it gets quite good when the debates and votes started.

These are the sorts of loopholes which the rich are exploiting that the Lib Dems pledged to close. Of course to be swiftly sweeped aside when they formed the coalition as the Tories need to appease their middle-upper class supporters..

No real surprises there. Hitting the poor the hardest, exactly what you'd expect from a Tory Government. No matter how hard he tries, he'll never look as uncomfortable as Vince Cable does sitting on the frontbench beside Tories.

I love Annie Mac. I love msn too lol. No I'm not a communist, I just like Ken Livingstone (joke..). I just like wishing the best for the underdog and North Korea did a great job against Brazil. I don't use twitter, but she might be back on here soon under another name or something.

Oooooh k, after the summer? Yeah I'm watching it. Not really supporting any team though, following England of course and wishing the very best for the Netherlands and any other underdogs (like North Korea in the game against Brazil). But generally any team that features Arsenal players gets my best wishes (not so much France though, I have my reasons) lol, but I'm not really a fan of international football so I'm not tooo bothered.
