  1. The way I see it, if she was really that good, she would have lasted a lot longer on the Breakfast Show slot... meh. Weirdly I'm listening to Fearne now and actually starting to come around to liking it, but out of the Radio1 choices in that list I would vote for Edith.
  2. sorry, still ain't seeing what people love so much about Sara Cox, I just find her annoying if anything (and no, I've never found her 'charming' either...)
  3. didn't see Lisa Snowdon in there... my vote would still go to Cerys though in the absence of Rachael Hodges from the list.
  4. Well she came up with a feature for Richard Bacon that won an award for innovative radio features a few weeks back... I don't see anything on Radio1 winning one of those anytime soon
  5. I would suggest Googling it... but be prepared to be scarred for life if you do #healthwarning
  6. Hmm no 5live's Rachael 'The Hodge' Hodges on there? She's a bit of a late night slot legend (G'mornin), has her own Facebook Groups aside from the ones based around Richard Bacon's former show and Listening to Livesey even though she's not the title person on each show (she's technically the newsreader), she pretty much makes the shows in the same way Chappers and Laura made Mills' shows back in the day. Outta those options I would have to go for one of the 6music girls, probably Cerys Matthews.
  7. Kensington Park... would that be the Kensington Gardens part of Hyde Park then?
  8. suspicions of this one being a bot/spammer = Confirmed...
  9. lol, I heard someone doing a readout of the stats/facts earlier where they said the volunteer would be paid for with just one pound, basically switched those 3 around and added something else...
  10. Sadly I doubt many viewing saw the whole point about it all taking itself too seriously...
  11. I'm also hoping it's swimming, but with some devious twist... as long as he's not swimming in the sewers he was wading through, right? Maybe they'll shove him on a train to Brighton for a swim in the channel?
  12. No, but I'm sure if I had, both my ears would now be detached from my head, or hanging by some blood vessel or other. Ah there, managed it
  13. I think everything I could say... has already been said.
  14. OOps, oh well, whichever thread ya read, happy birthday
  15. Oh FFS, why did Universal have to go and do that, we could have been rid of these talentless idiots... and as for Louis being 'committed' to them, he sure should be committed for inflicting this on the world... Right, everybody go download their stuff illegally, see if we can't put em outta business or make em quit that way...
  16. For every Metallica making a stand against it, there's a Radiohead or Nine Inch Nails making a case FOR allowing free downloading.
  17. Are all these miles going to be walking/crawling etc? I was just thinking what if he ends up swimming as one of the miles?
  18. I don't think pinot griglio will really help with whatever it is he has to do tomorrow though
  19. I'd imagine (based on my own experience of doing much shorter distances of stairs in an effort to be slightly healthy and that) that he'd be in a shedload of pain right about now, never mind tomorrow... at least he can sit down to do the show though, most well-deserved sit-down ever?
  20. I think he sounds a bit shattered... just a bit...
  21. so is he just in til Scott finishes? wouldda thought Scott would be knackered by now...
  22. So he'll be going through the Torchwood bits of the tower then...
