  1. Maybe they listen to her show and realise she's a twat?
  2. His intonation is quite annoying- he makes everything sound like a question! Where's Coxy, was she busy this week?
  3. Hmm. Yes well it's hardly Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' is it? Now THAT's how to make pop...
  4. Yes! She sounded fab on afternoons this week. Give her some more shows, someone... and by someone I mean Granddad Parfitt.
  5. Even if she did smack someone, such as- just an example obviously- a 'toilet attendant' in a Guildford club toilet or something, everyone would probably just forget about it... ...Oh!
  6. They are quite dreadful and rather pointless.
  7. I think the show's sounding possibly even better than the weekday one! I must agree about the text thing though- I would occasionally have some read out on the weekday show, but none on the weekends as yet. Maybe she has too many?
  8. I think he has a point. Your name needs to be Deadmau5 to get played at the moment. Every five minutes.
  9. The show is sounding so good! Take note FC...
  10. Yes- for Moyles, formerly Whiley and sometimes Mac. I use the iPlayer site because it's easiest. I wish they'd hurry up and integrate it into Freeview+ boxes though.
  11. She really did show Fearne how a good show should sound. Oh silly me- I keep forgetting Fearne is under thirty, which is the most important factor in making a listenable show. Tsk.
  12. It was a mere swipe at sarcasm- for the record it is very much NOT a good move by Granddad Parfitt and she has no idea how to connect with younger listeners. Jo didn't speak to the audience like idiots, she is sorely missed!
  13. There was WAAAAAAY to much coverage of films on Edith's show- once a week would've been more than enough. I did begin to warm to her near the end though, I must admit. I don't see what's all that special about Greg- maybe if Scott wasn't around he'd seem more unique. I don't dislike him at all, I just wouldn't go out of my way to listen and I don't see what all the 'fuss' is about.
  14. That is a thousand times better than the daytime advert! Mind you, so's the line-up.
  15. Oh dear- I though I couldn't dislike Nihal any more... then I saw that photo. Strewth.
  16. I've had a brief listen and it's passable. It's not the worst thing I've ever heard (Nihal), but it's not remarkable, exciting, interesting and doesn't compel me to listen again. So they've replaced entertaining Jo with average Fearne. But hey, at least she really knows how to connect with the kids... Good work Parfitt.
  17. Aw, poor Jo started to cry! What a great show post Coldplay- would've liked more of Jo's best bits but entertaing as ever nonetheless. She should've pulled the drawbridge up and not let Parfitt in though!
  18. If Jo didn't want it to be about her, they still could've had highlights of the daytime show- guests, Live Lounges, etc. Jay-Z's on now!
  19. Jo's final show is on now, and it seems like more a celebration of Coldplay than Jo's years on daytime. She's just had a pre-recorded interview with them and now a whole hour of her last show will be taken up with their concert. Last shows are usually a unique opportunity to play out best bits and generally celebrate the host- what's going on?! I took the day off for this (sad but true)- I expected more! I want to hear Jo not a band that I could buy the CD or DVD of should I wish to. And Chris didn't say much on the handover- has he been told not to? I half expected him to be pre recorded and pop up at Castle Whiley.
  20. Could Jo's be Kelly Clarkson "Since U Been Gone"? Maybe she should 'do a Zoe Tate' (just me who watches Emmerdale?) and set the studio on fire as she leaves in a taxi. I won't say with Fearne in it, that would just be petty...
  21. Ha ha! That did make me chuckle! I didn't think Fearne could be more smug until I saw the photo on the right- what is that?! It's looks like she's doing the face we did at school for a stupid person- y'know, tongue in the lower lip...
  22. Unfortunately I think Cotton will stick around for a while, but I can see the bosses letting her get away with her (let's face it) predictable absences as they wouldn't want to look like they made a wrong decision. In no way can I see Edith and particularly Jo being happy or consenting to being shoved away on weekends- it's less prestigious, I presume will be less money (?) and is kind of embarrassing- I know I wouldn't be happy if my boss told me I'd have to work part time- and at weekends. Jo's kids will be at school during the week, and Edith will have to get up at the crack of dawn on a weekend- no thanks!
  23. I've never understood the film feature. Who wanted it? It always seemed out of place to me- ifyou're going to have a feature, why not make it about new music or something more relevant to a music station?
