It happens a lot of the time where it starts really small and not worth noting and just forgotten about and then builds up. Parents and Teachers don't get involved until its already going far to far. Bullying is in the eye of the person bearing it. Its not just how bad it looks from the outside, it depends how the person can deal with it, which can't be measured. Pah I will have to stop the rant now.

Thats where we completely differ, I can't wait till the new schedule, I predict it might drop a little but rise as soon as people build up show loyalty again.

But what happens when you don't choose to be different, I was bullied thoughout school for being allergic to nylon and polyester, I've always had to have a different uniform to everyone else because of it. They was nothing I could do but take their "You're not allowed to wear those trousers at school, are you too poor to afford proper ones?"

The flash flash works at 4am when its only truckies and insomiacs listening, its just a way for the truckies to feel a little less lonely, if you see someone else doing it in the distance on a long stretch of motorway its got to bring a smile to your face. The thing is, when hes covering fro Scott he literally brings his 4am show to 4pm, and trys to adapt it as little as possible, this doesn't always work, but it works well enough. When he's moved to the 1-4pm slot he'll have the chance to adapt his show properly to daytimes over time, instead of getting a week to test the water before being taken back to the darkness of early mornings. Oh and in regards to the phonecalls... there are a lot of nutters out there who actually have the oddest stories to tell, they'll use any medium to tell their wacky stories ;-)

Surely the only way to minimise being bullied is either to not be different in any way or by being one of the bullys. I don't see what else can be done to help the situation, theres no generalisable answer because they all can backfire.

People were Sexting Radio 1 on Tuesday. Poor Ian was trying to avoid a mms of a male listeners... ermm male bits. Very funny. Its really irresponsable for young people to do this when theres high chance that the person receiving it will never be mature enough to be trusted, and its so risky when it could get into the wrong hands.
