Rachel Chinouriri reveals she once heckled Simon Cowell at the Brit School

Charlie and JerryRecap of the show on

Rachel Chinouriri was the star turn in the Live Lounge with Charlie Hedges and Jeremiah Asiamah, and the best bit wasn't even the music. Asked for gossip, she admitted to once heckling Simon Cowell when he visited the Brit School scouting talent: "I'm like, right, who is it? And then Simon Cowell got out of his car."

Rachel also told Charlie and Jerry about ending up at a near-empty party in LA with her best friend, ready to leave, when Madonna walked in and the night turned into one of the wildest she's had. She said people were texting her afterwards asking if she was really there, while she was "hiding in the corner hoping I don't get kicked out."

She let slip she's in a group chat with a string of top musicians, including Kalani, saying one artist set the chat up and added "all the girlies." Charlie and Jerry tried to get more names out of her but she couldn't recall them all.

Musically, Rachel performed One Song Away From Crying before a lively cover, telling Charlie and Jerry she'd chosen it partly because she'd love the designer handbags mentioned in the lyrics. Charlie and Jerry said the session would be well worth catching on BBC iPlayer, joking that Rachel was "proper jumping around" and lost her mic mid-performance.
