Beabadoobee had Charlie Hedges and Jeremiah 'Jerry' Asiamah gripped with her story from Taylor Swift's wedding, revealing she and her boyfriend got so "loose" that his phone ended up lost for good. She told the pair they'd tried walking back to their New York hotel before realising their mistake, joking "we remembered it isn't London" when a cab finally turned up. The phone, she confirmed, never resurfaced.

Her Live Lounge performance left a mark too. After singing her own track Memories, beabadoobee covered Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars stripped right back to acoustic guitars and cello, with Charlie telling her "you nearly had us crying in here." Listener Mike texted in afterwards to say it "does not get better than this," with the hosts reporting plenty of fans in tears.
Jerry provided the comic relief later on, nipping off mic mid-show for what Charlie described as "the biggest pop-off ever," loud enough to rumble through a supposedly soundproof studio. He returned to find he and Charlie had unwittingly turned up dressed in matching dark blue suits for an event they were both attending that evening, prompting Charlie to tell him "you better get to the shop."

Elsewhere, Elle from Southport triumphed in Winner Stays On, ditching Sam Fender and Becky Hill along the way before settling on Arctic Monkeys' Do I Wanna Know? as her festival-bangers champion. In the One Second Club, listener James correctly named Fontaine's D.C.'s Here's the Thing from just three seconds of audio.
