Sharleen Spiteri dropped into Sara Cox’s studio and seemed genuinely rattled playing her new single live on air. “I’m like woozy right now, I feel physically sick,” she admitted, telling Sara she still gets nerves putting new music out “no matter how many albums you’ve sold.” The Texas singer used the chat to announce a 2027 UK and European tour, with tickets going on pre-sale this Friday and general sale the following Friday, and revealed White on Blonde is being reissued on vinyl for the first time in 30 years, after she had to pay £1,400 on eBay just to get a copy to master from.

Spiteri also shared some starry gossip, revealing Dame Judi Dench is “naughty, funny, mischievous” company off stage, and that she filmed her new video in Scotland with Robert Carlyle and some over-friendly Highland cows. She confirmed Celebrity Traitors’ Karen Carney is a close friend and the godmother to her daughter, but ruled herself out of ever going on The Traitors: “I feel sick watching… I just couldn’t do it to myself.”
Elsewhere, Owain Wyn Evans called in from his Children in Need training, admitting to “a couple of wobbles” ahead of his four-nations cycle challenge, and revealing producers have ordered him to do his Step Back in Time segment live from the bike at 4am. Sara also marked Jenny from Bristol’s emotional 20th work anniversary in Signed, Sealed, Delivered, while Surprise and Shine regular Peter missed his call again, prompting Sara to joke “we’ll always love you.”
