Andrew Garfield turned up on Capital Breakfast to plug his new film The Uprising and ended up getting grilled by Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby about Spider-Man rumours he insists he knows nothing about. Asked about Avengers: Doomsday, he joked he'd spent eight months denying he was in No Way Home before it was confirmed, comparing it to "an eight month version of Celebrity Traitors where I was the traitor." Things nearly came unstuck in the show's toughest game, There's The Door, when he was asked which of Florence Pugh, Emma Stone or Zendaya's number he'd delete: Garfield called it "a rude question" and threatened to walk, before staying to finish the interview.
Chris Stark confirmed he's missing Friday's Global's Make Some Noise charity day because of his "immovable" annual lads' golf weekend, the same clash that saw him turn down a Taylor Swift interview last year. Jordan North needled him about it, reading out a listener's message likening Chris to "the golden child" of the show who gets away with everything, though Chris insisted he'll make a donation instead.
Kemi Rogers provided the running joke of the morning, training for her own Make Some Noise challenge by jogging across London to the studio with a backpack stuffed with Müller yogurts. Out of breath and "soaked through," she begged Jordan, Chris and Sian for a few extra minutes on air, with Jordan joking it would "come out of my pay packet" before the trio cheered her on toward a 10am deadline.
