Fearne’s memory box
Scott continued teasing the discovery of Fearne Cotton’s old pen-pal letters.
Fearne had found the box while going through possessions from the 1990s, and Scott was already planning to make her read the letters aloud the following week.

The Birthday Game: Trudy
Trudy turned 56 and was celebrating with a busy day involving family, cake, a meal and an unexpected fish in the car.
She had first visited Las Vegas for her 40th birthday and had returned many times since.
After hearing Shaboozey on Scott’s programme, she bought tickets to see him during another Vegas trip in December.
Her first spin was BWitched’s Rollercoaster*. Trudy liked the group but rejected the song.
The second was James Arthur’s Say You Won’t Let Go. She said she was not a major James Arthur fan and gambled again.
Her compulsory final song was Midge Ure’s If I Was, number one in 1985.
Trudy initially struggled to name the singer despite having seen him live in Bristol, then accepted the result while her sister Nadine laughed beside her.
Kit Connor and Joe Locke
Kit Connor and Joe Locke joined Scott before the arrival of Heartstopper season three.
Joe discussed spending four months on Broadway in Sweeney Todd.
He had expected the work to occupy only a few hours each day but found himself exhausted enough to sleep for around 12 hours a night.
Patti LuPone sent him flowers and a note encouraging him to stay present, enjoy himself and breathe.
Joe kept the message on his dressing-room mirror.
From the Isle of Man to Broadway
Joe remembered beginning amateur theatre on the Isle of Man.
He first auditioned for The Wizard of Oz at six but became frightened by the prospect of playing a Munchkin.
By ten, he was regularly performing with friends.
A conversation about the island’s Fairy Bridge then revealed that Scott may once have been driven by Joe’s grandfather.
Kit’s Romeo and Juliet
Kit was appearing on Broadway in Romeo and Juliet with Rachel Zegler.
He discussed the rapid rehearsal process and the challenge of moving from television into a major stage production.
The pair also reflected on the effect Heartstopper had on viewers, including fans who told them the series had helped them come out to friends and relatives.
Kit praised Olivia Colman’s ability to appear for only a few filming days and still dominate the emotional impact of the series.
