Radio 1 DJ Jordan North is to appear in this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
The new series, hosted by Ant and Dec, will take place at Gwrych Castle in Wales rather than the usual location in the Australian jungle, due to coronavirus restrictions.
Also confirmed for the line-up are former Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ Pritchard, broadcaster Vernon Kay and Paralympian Hollie Arnold, as well as runner Mo Farah, news presenter Victoria Derbyshire, Eastenders’ Shane Ritchie, Coronation Street star Beverley Callard, podcast host Giovanna Fletcher and EastEnders actress Jessica Plummer.
Tweeting a video revealing the line-up, North wrote: “The Cat’s out the bag….. it’s true!!!”
Fellow DJ Katie Thistleton tweeted: “I don’t wanna be one of those people who is like ‘2020 is saved’. But, 2020 is saved. Mainly cos @jordannorth1 @MrsGiFletcher. Strong line up all in all this”.
Radio 1 boss Aled Haydn Jones added: “Who’s the supply teacher’s supply teacher!?”
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! starts on ITV on November 15.
