Scott was already managing Yasss FC
Only days after insisting he did not care about football, Scott was checking his fantasy team for injuries and asking listeners for advice. Chris had successfully created a problem for himself: Scott now wanted to know why particular players might not start and whether replacements would damage his chances.
Aaron Cresswell attracted Scott’s attention for immaculate hair, which forced Chris to explain again that hairstyle did not earn any Fantasy Premier League points.
What is the strangest thing you have found in someone’s bedroom?
The day’s most productive question came from stories about visiting somebody’s home and discovering something unexpected in the bedroom.
One account involved a large box hidden under a bed. The owner was apparently so proud of its highly personal contents that they later sent a detailed inventory, although the specifics were not suitable for the afternoon show.
Then came a much easier story to broadcast.
A listener had stayed at a house where one room was effectively devoted to hamsters. There were 16 of them, with individual cages and names. The same room also contained a mermaid-themed bed and My Little Pony belongings.
The caller ended up sleeping in the mermaid bed surrounded by the hamster collection, an image that immediately justified the entire discussion.
Bangers finished the week
Scott offered Drake and Rihanna’s “Take Care”, while Chris chose Muse’s “Knights of Cydonia”. The caller preferred Scott’s choice, giving him another reason to believe his judgement was improving in areas Chris normally considered his own territory.
