Hillside Festival still wanted Jaguar Skills
Luke returned with another update on the homemade festival he was organising with a friend. Their original booking form for Jaguar Skills had been memorable because the proposed timetable appeared to schedule him for hour after hour, far beyond a normal DJ set.
Luke said they were prepared to move the date if that was what it took. They had contacted Jaguar Skills on social media and received an encouraging response, but nothing had yet been confirmed.
Scott happened to have an old number for Jaguar and decided to try it.
Scott became Jaguar’s translator
Jaguar Skills rarely spoke publicly and protected the mystery around his identity, so Scott handled the call in an unusual way. Jaguar could answer privately, while Scott relayed the useful parts back to Luke on-air.
One immediate problem was the proposed running time. Jaguar explained that a normal set would be roughly 45 minutes to an hour, not the enormous block of time Luke had placed on his schedule.
The call did not magically turn the garden event into a conventional festival booking, but Jaguar agreed to see what he could do. That promise would become important the following week.
Riyadh Khalaf got soaked
Riyadh Khalaf joined Innuendo Bingo while promoting his BBC Three series Queer Britain. He talked about making documentaries about LGBTQ+ life and the huge response to his own coming-out videos before asking Chris not to go easy on him in the game.
Chris obeyed. Riyadh received the full Innuendo Bingo experience, with both players repeatedly spraying water across the studio as supposedly innocent clips took on very different meanings.
Yasss FC also continued to grow into a genuine concern for Scott, who was beginning to ask questions about fantasy-football choices rather than simply judging the players’ appearance.
