Stars hidden behind trees
Scott returned from Los Angeles without having met a single celebrity. He had paid for a bus tour of famous homes, but much of the experience involved guides pointing towards tall trees and assuring passengers that stars lived somewhere behind them.
Jennifer Lawrence and Quentin Tarantino visited a café after Scott had left it, and Rihanna passed through the same airport scanner at a different time.
The wrong Chris and the wrong tent
Glastonbury supplied mishaps that television coverage had missed. Kirsty had taken a secret photograph of a man at Liam Gallagher’s set, convinced that he was Chris. Only later did she discover that she had photographed somebody entirely unrelated.
Blair made a more intimate error after returning to camp in the dark. He entered the wrong tent and went to sleep beside a stranger, apparently giving him a cuddle. The unexpected host accepted an apology breakfast, turning the mistake into a new festival friendship.
Chris had a lucky face
On the way to work, a man stopped Chris and announced that he had a “lucky face”. He asked for Chris’s favourite colour and number, produced small pieces of paper and told him that he had bad habits but was a good person who would become very lucky in August.
Real or No Real claimed that “Despacito” was based on a Handel composition. That was false, although the show found a harpsichord arrangement performed at Handel’s former home.
