Beccy annoys Matt Fincham
Beccy found a new way to wind up producer Matt Fincham: she sat beside him during phone calls and answered as though the caller were speaking to her. Matt tried to remain professional while becoming increasingly distracted by the extra voice in the conversation.
Scott also used a homemade random generator to devise ridiculous competition combinations, and the team looked for hidden voiceover talent on Stupid Street. Beccy’s ongoing introduction to R. Kelly’s Trapped in the Closet added another strand, with the story becoming more complicated than anyone expected.
The episode worked because Beccy’s prank had no grand purpose. It was simply a tiny workplace irritation, pursued with enough commitment that Matt’s attempts to cope became the feature’s payoff.
