Innuendo Bingo: The Duel
Innuendo Bingo became a head-to-head contest, with Beccy and Chris taking each other on rather than simply reacting to a guest. Both held water in their mouths while Scott played clips designed to make them laugh, splutter and lose the game.
Chris complained that Beccy was hogging the bin and leaving him nowhere to spit, but the practicalities did not make the duel any less messy. The game was a strong example of the show’s ability to turn a small studio setup into proper competitive drama.
The rest of the programme kept Chris firmly at the centre of the week’s comedy. His Batman disappointment was still fresh, and the team were more than willing to make sure he was soaked as well as rejected.
