The programme discovered the work sneeze
Scott became interested in whether people sneeze differently in professional settings. Some listeners apparently restrained themselves at work, while others recognised the explosive sound associated with dads everywhere.
The studio tried to manufacture one
Light, pepper and suggestion were all considered as ways to trigger a sneeze on demand. As with many Scott experiments, the attempt to prove a trivial theory became much more elaborate than the original observation justified.
Paddy McGuinness joined the day
Paddy McGuinness was among the guests, with Edith Bowman and psychic Sally Morgan also entering the surrounding conversation. What’s Occurring? featured Andrew Lloyd Webber and another champagne-timer challenge, leaving the episode split between involuntary bodily noises and celebrities being subjected to unnecessary tests.
