Good afternoon, it’s only bley Wednesday. Welcome aboard, here’s the low down from today’s show.
Every Little Helps!
Yesterday we heard from the listeners that giving girls cuddly toys is a great way to pull. We also learnt that writing out lyrics to soppy songs and putting them in a photo frame was the way to a girl’s heart. But where is the best place to go? We established it seems to be supermarkets. So to test this theory out Scott sent Laura to a supermarker near Radio 1 headquarters.
Laura met one or two guys and she tried to give away her cuddly polar bear toy, and tried to pull with Daniel Bedingfield. It didn’t quite work, but it was third time lucky with a poor guy who found Laura rather charming. He took the Daniel Bedingfield lyrics and the bear, and Laura gave him her number (better known as the Flirt Divert number).
Proof it works. Looks like supermarkets will now be a hot-bed of activity this week for singletons.

Random Act of Kindness
Trevor e-mailed Scott as he knew someone who deserved a Random Act of Kindness. Ellie, his niece, is five years old. Last year she was diagnosed with a tumour on the kidney, and under-go treatment several times a week. She never complained about her treatment and was always smiling. Her mum was very supportive and made sure Ellie knew what was going on. Trevor felt Ellie really deserved a present as the whole family have been through a state of shock for the last year.
Ellie’s a big fan of a certain pop group – Westlife. Trevor and the family had tried to get some tickets for a gig in Birmingham but couldn’t get tickets ‘for love nor money’. So Scott got Kien off of Westlife on the phone who wanted to help Ellie out. Kien and Scott gave Ellie a call but she was too wasn’t really sure what was going on and went all shy. Whilst speaking to Emma, her mum, Kien invited Ellie and the family down to the Birmingham gig so she could meet them all – cue the usual tears.
Another great Random Act of Kindness. And it looks like the message board users were liking it to – asking for more Random Acts of Kindness, more often. What did you think? Get on our forum and tell us.

The Honesty Game
More from The Honesty Game tonight where the team go in to a safety zone and have to answer the listeners’ questions. More discussion about Gareth and Scott passed on a question about his age. Neither Laura, Scott or Chappers had seen each other fully naked. One notable question was from a listener who wanted to know if ‘Scott laughed in Y-vette’s ear’. After a year of presuming he didn’t, he said he did. This came much to the shock of visitors to the Most Haunted message board who claimed Scott was ‘sick’ and should be sacked from his job for leading so many people on. Scott thought it was time to leave The Honesty Game there after this revelation…
And Finally…
Scott’s Flatmate the Comedian came home last night with an interesting t-shirt. He’d been to diggerland. Scott couldn’t believe the British Public. A theme park about diggers, what’s that all about? Why would people want to look like Bob The Builder? Chappers’ son is a fan, and say he’s been there with him. Scott was more concerned about the children’s safety, worrying about children riding diggers about the place.
