Yes I’m back! After 3 weeks of revision all my exams are over and now the hard work starts but ive managed to fit you guys in (g’mornin) to review today’s show. And do bear with me, I’m trying to work the new system for the first time.
Houston we have a problem?
At the start of today’s show we all thought that our radios were on the blink with some distortion happening between songs but according to Scott someone had stood on the wire,this continued at points during the show and Scott and Chopper offered to sing instead of play the songs. Why didn’t they get Moyles on to practice, eh?
World Cup Sweepstake
While Scott was away last week in Dubai, everyone got together at Radio1 and put bets on who would be entered into the World cup. Today Chopper mentioned that Scott owed him £10 because he had been given Holland, Scott disagreed and wanted to swap with Chopper because he was unaware of what was happening.
Most Haunted
Yesterday on the Honesty game a caller asked Scott if He was the one who laughed in Yvette Fieldings ear a year ago in the Golden Fleece pub in York, Scott replied with yes and ever since the Living TV Forums have been going mad. Yvette has even been in touch herself and has invited Scott back on location to record another show.
Scott In The Supermarket
Yesterday Laura was sent out into the Supermarket next door to Radio1 after Scott received one or two calls from listeners who said that the best way to pull was in a Supermarket. Scott went out to the same store armed with a Cuddly toy and some lyrics to James Blunts ‘Your Beautiful’. Both Laura and Chopper were unsure if Scott would be successful or not. At first Scott spotted a 25 year old Female called Marie in the Mayonnaise Isle, Scott asked her “do you know if yogurts are good?” she replied with “yes”. Scott gave her the toy and recited the James Blunt Lyrics. Marie seemed Impressed and they swapped numbers, later on in the show Marie made the first move and texted Scott and they’re going out together next week.
Phone Game
Once again Chopper has being Intercepting Your call requests that go through the studio normally when people ring up for Your call they get to speak to the lovely Laura but this time the unlucky caller got put onto Jade goody who was on Jo whileys show yesterday. After trying to talk to Jade for a few minutes Chopper transfers the girl to Westwood using the clips from the Sunday Surgery. The girl was not impressed and put the phone down on him
Laura’s Wish List
Lauras moving out of her house at the moment and whilst cleaning out her freezer she found a “Magical Wish List” which Jocelyn off of the Chris Moyles show told her about.
Her list includes:
– To work at Radio1 for a long time
– To be Friends with Scott and Chappers for a long time
– And to have a Boyfriend soon
