Good Mornin' – I'm back here for Wednesday's show review. Completely rushed off my feet with work, but have taken the time out to write up today's show review.
Scott couldn't sleep last night, he'd seen something pretty horrific on television. It wasn't that awful Boys Not Allowed show (he's without Sky) – it was Russell Grant in his pants on Celebrity Fit Club. There was the much confusion on the texts – is he married, divorced… or may be he's gay?
One year on… Eh? Dirty Boy!
Scott had an apology to make to Blackpool International Airport as he'd crashed their website quite a few times yesterday. Gareth, from the company, said that they were taking it seriously and they will be having a meeting about this today. There will be a decision made today, and we'll hear all about it tomorrow. As well as that Newquay Airport are interested in renaming their airport Jo Whiley International. Click_here_to_participate_in_Unofficial_Mills'_poll.
Paul had a problem with his friend Rich who he lives with. He never gets in early, and it means not getting much sleep when he has to be at work very early. He usually brings back some friends as well, and he thinks it's just to annoy him. He's tried having a quiet work, but nothing is really working. Paul left the keys to the flat in a certain place and Scott sent Laura round. She went along with Ramstein and a megaphone and let herself into the house. Rich was very confused and wasn't quite sure why they were there and who they were, but Scott informed Rich if he didn't stop keeping Paul awake at night Laura'll be round every day at 7.30. Gotta love it just for a bit of Rammstein in the morning really. Worth a listen if you didn't catch it.
Rammstein? Ja! Mein hund ist kaput! Mein hund ist kaput!
Also on the show
From that point on the Rammstein fans were on, and those not so loving Rammstein. One girl was subjected to this every Saturday at 8am. Scott believed a daily Ramstein moment at 7.45am each morning was pushing it a bit. Scott reckons it could be the new Sting Ring – Ram Ring. I wouldn't knock it Scott, sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures.
One caller was after the actual chilli pepper from the Red Hot Chilli Pepper competition. Scott wouldn't giveaway the chilli pepper, and asked that caller to ring back when she hears the prompt. There's always the slight chance she'll end up with RHCP tickets though.
Then there was a text from Martin, whose son wanted tones of barbies for his birthday. One girl’s argument is that playing with barbies is better at 5 than 16. And isn't it a bit sexist that girls can do boy things, but not the other way round? Scott said its all fine, he had a wendy house at the age of 4 and he turned out fine…
Flirt Divert
Back on with Scott today, remember the number 07770 756 408. It looks like a normal phone number, but it actually comes through to Scott. The first message was about an 'embarrassing' situation that comes with all men. Did he cry when Mike Baldwin died? He can't use a phone box? Or has he been playing with Barbies? Another message had left her gloves behind, and another guy sounded incredibly like Peter Andre. One guy was applying for a cartoon voiceover job – sadly he didn't do any auditions.
The new face of BBC Radio 1 – Donald Duck
Is it Daffy Duck?
After Flirt Divert it was guess the cartoon voice from Scott. Was it Donald Duck? Was it Daffy Duck? Quite a few people felt the need to call in; obviously they have nothing better to do (that's coming from me who has listened to the show every day for around 2 years). Scott's advice? Go outside and do something more useful.
Jono's Views
A good show again today, although there was perhaps too much music for my liking. But then again Scott is up for a Sony for just that. Get your views in on the message board…
