Goood Morning, it's the 11th October and welcome to another Scott Mills show review. I was in a bad mood this afternoon, but finally am in a better mood and happy to review the show! Let's get down to it…

Morning Birthday Banter
It wasn't about Scott today; it was all about Chappers and Laura. Yes, it's their birthday. Scott did some 'home baking' last night and made some muffins. Well actually, Sky One had apparently sent them in as part of their new programme entitled 'Weeds'. They sound lovely. The team had some presents for Chappers – a neatly wrapped present from Laura with a DVD of Paris (the city not Hilton) and a diary. One of the other team members brought him a book on 'how to DJ' and from Scott he was given a Girls Aloud 2006 calendar.
Scott: "That's a big ol'mid-life crisis you've got going on there"
Scott didn't get any sleep last night – there were four police cars and a riot van. Everyone was out on the balconies, but it wasn't anything to do with a drunken Scott. Rumours were that Scott had some involvement with the 4.30 horse race – a horse entitled Scott's Mill. Chappers said he didn't condone gambling but said they should stick a fiver on it. We later found on the race isn't running anyway. Scott would also like to clear up he wasn't in the Thetford pub in Norfolk the other day (I wish!).
Rate My Listener
Today's look-alike on Rate My Listener was Bob. Thankfully today's looks like a celebrity, and it's clear from the first look – Phil Mitchell off of Eastenders. Bob is a bailiff – wouldn't it freak you out if Phil Mitchell turns up on your door? Bob is single, his ideal woman would be Rachel Stevens, and his ideal man would be Brad Pitt.
Chappers: "Not Grant?"
Scott: "No, no!"

I Love You… Honest!
One caller today was going to be telling her customers that she loves them – and she works for a high street bank. Another was set a new challenge, and gave Directory Enquires a call. The guy told her he loved her many times, before she returned the love. Tom was also on the line, wanting to tell his sister-in-law that he loves her, trying to raise the barrier. Tom rang Claire, but little did he know, that Scott had rung Claire before hand and told him what he was doing. She was told to play along and Tom got the shock of his life when she told him she loved him too. Tom firmly believed she was coming on to him, and quickly was honest with her. It was very amusing, worth a listen.
News of Laura's diary soon spread…
Laura's Diary
I enjoyed having a conversation with many people in the school today about a charming lady called Laura who's diary was being read out on Radio 1. The news is spreading!
Mary was back on the line again today, with a message of love for her sister Laura. The first extract today was from 16th October. She was feeling ill, her friend Becky paid her £2 back, and she's decided she loved Jamie. She kept putting on 'boom shake the room' on in her room, and was trying to picture Jamie's face, but really needed a photograph. She couldn't remember his eyes and nose. She was worried she wasn't good enough for him. She went to bed early as her dad's friend from Canada was staying there and she didn't like him.
Chappers "I want to hear more about daddy's friend"
At 9 o'clock Scott played Laura's favourite – 'Boom, Shake the Room' just to reminder her of Jamie.
Just before 9 o'clock, we got another extract from Laura's diary from Mary. The next extract was from the 24th October. Laura had a lot going on. She was at a 'sleep out' raising money for charity at the youth club. She ended up sleeping next to Jamie, and Jamie begun holding Laura's hand. They begun hugging and he put his arm around her. Lisa was teasing them, before he told her to shut up, and they got closer. Then 'he came in my box' – it was the best night of her life.
(Team laughs)
Chappers: "Play a record…"

Could YOU work for him?
Situations Vacant
Did you apply to be a footballer's nanny in a Southampton newspaper? Did you ring Victoria Chapman? You were calling Scott's Situations Vacant line then. From the advert it sounded like the top footballer's wife was a bit paranoid about the nanny, and you should be after hearing the messages on the phone. The first caller was someone who used to date a footballer and was tall, blonde and had 'big boobs', the second was aware of the situation and wouldn't have it away with the footballer, and the last was a male. He reassured the wife that his husband was unlikely to be knocking around with him. People are now becoming paranoid about applying for jobs in local papers now.
Carpark Price is Right
Another day of the greatest feature on Radio 1 – Carpark Price is Right with Brucie.
Brucie: "What exactly do you do Chappers? Oh Chappers, your such a wally. Did you see him cut the cards, Chappers?"
Today's callers were Marquita and Chris. Brucie's friends were 'Ben Micok' and 'Ginger Rotch'. Chris sounded like he was being sped up, whilst Marquita sounded like she was from another country – well actually she was. Anyway, today's prizes included a 'number 1 mum necklace', a Princess Diana memorial plate, and an 'Eiffel Tower' cigarette holder. Chris won the memorial plate, which adds to his collection of memorial plates. Marquita, somehow, managed to win 2 -1. Another thrilling game of Price is Right tomorrow on Radio 1…

A good show today, although I think everyone was in birthday mode. Tomorrow's show sounds good – a You've Been Busted and a new feature. Finally, a very huge happy birthday to both Chappers and Laura. Hope they enjoyed their day. Another review tomorrow night.
