The war of exercise videos… and big glasses
Morning Banter
Texters wanted to know why Chris isn't still on his beach, as apparently he was down the pub with JK and Joel last night. Scott claimed he should be doing his show. Chappers was concerned that Max and Paddy were releasing an exercise video – but was relieved to hear it was a spoof. Scott thanked all the students he 'pleasured' this weekend. They were trying to nick his CDs a lot, and the barriers protecting Scott weren't around him. There was just a bit of Perspex which broke. Chappers got his first letter back from a celebrity following giving out some presents to some celebrity couples. Chappers had received a thank you letter from Jodie Kidd. The cheek of it though – she's looking forward to an anniversary present next year. Still nothing from Britney yet…

Laura's Diary
So far in Laura's diary we've learnt she fancies a boy called Jamie, but got off with a boy called Andy, her dad is very strict and grounds her a lot. Hear the omnibus on Unofficial Mills right now and download it to your desktop. It’s worth the download!
Mary refused to allow Scott to read her diary, and now claims she doesn't own a diary. The first extract was from the 12th October – She had a part in the school play – James and the Giant Peach. She went to youth club, and Jamie and Andy were there. Sarah was mean to her for wearing a body top as she said it looked tarty. She played spin the bottle upstairs, but then Norma came upstairs and took the bottle away, and for this Laura called her a cow. She's so confused over which one to choose. Chappers had hoped Jamie would have spun the bottle and landed on Andy, but that's another story…
The second extract was from 14th October. She sprained her wrist in hockey, her chain came off her bike and she believed this was fate – she went the long way round. She went to the shop before passing Jamie's house for a second time. She looked everywhere but couldn't see the boys – Jamie or Andy. Her dad fined her a week's pocket money for leaving the hairdryer plugged in.

Rate My Listener
It's another week of Rate My Listener Look-alikes. Today was something for the boys – 18 year old Suzy who was out for most of the night. She stopped drinking about half three (4 hours before the call), and wasn't really making much sense. She believes she looks like Abi Titmuss. She's 'just attached' and her ideal man would be Henry from Goodfellas. Her ideal woman would be Kelly Brooke. Scott correctly guessed 34C, although I doubt she even knew from the sound of her this morning.
Scott: "How much more sleep are you going to get now?"
Suzy: "Yeah hopefully…"
Scott thinks there's probably a bucket, a half empty bottle of wine, and a half eaten kebab beside her bed. Get online and rate her happy. Justin from Nottingham is having a party next week and wants to know if Scott is setting up an agency for his look-alikes and wants the Abi Titmuss look-alike. Scott will send you a look-alike at a very competitive price.
Interesting story about Charlotte Church today – she'd "dyed… her hair brown". Scott had to reitterate what he'd said, and made it clear that she isn't dead.
"Now you don't like that Scott Mills do you? You always said Scott was the work of the devil and Chris Moyles was the saviour…"
Little Britain – Big Guests
Matt Lucas and David Walliams were in the studio today. They're off to Madame Tussuads today as their wax works are now ready. They say the popular saying I'm not going into. Scott was discussing the Blackpool wax works they once visited. Scott had presumed they were on the air because he'd won a Loaded award, but they were actually here to promote their DVD, their tour, their new series, the book and the new dolls. Matt and David discussed where they keep all of their awards – Matt gives his awards to his mother. Little Britain will be back on our screens this winter, and will be on a Friday night on BBC One. They both answered some listener's questions, before Matt read Friday's diary entry in a Vicky Pollard style. Not a bad interview for the show, although they certainly had a lot they wanted to plug.
The bit about Laura realising she 'wasn't a lesbian' wasn't the bit that on Friday Mary refused to disclose… Chappers reckoned she was too young to be aware of those secrets.
John Peel Day
Just a reminder that Thursday 13th October is John Peel Day. I would go into some sort of lengthy talk about him, but I'm sure you appreciate why this day is important. Get on to Radio 1 Online for some more details. Chappers wasn't sure who to see for this event. There are so many good acts, Chappers wanted some listener feedback. There was much love on the texts for Bingo Wings, and DJ Scotch Egg. He's a Japanese guy who plays a lot of techno through a gameboy, whilst screaming about a Game Boy and throwing scotch eggs into the audience.
Scott said you can catch the whole show online 'as soon as we've finished and Jo Whiley comes on'. Wise words there, not. Scott would like to make it clear that he actually meant you can listen any time you like.
Chappers: "So when would be the best time to listen would you say?"
(Team laughs)
Scott: "Don't put me in that position!"
On Friday the show has a huge Robbie Williams announcement – which isn't that Take That are reforming. Keep listening this week to hear it.

Good Morning Carpark Fans
It's Carpark Price is Right, the legendary feature, and the only good thing on the radio. Brucie was feeling a bit under the weather this morning, the alcohol was on last night, and he didn't really find the gig discussion very amusing. On the lines today were Jo and Ryan. Brucie's friends today were 'Shelia Blige', 'Ginger Sexual' and 'Ginger Micok'. Up for grabs today was some more top quality prizes – a silver spinning disco light, a pink lip-shape inflatable chair, and a staple less stapler (wow!).
"I've got one of those… they're marvellous"
Jo won 2 – 1 taking home the disco light and the chair. Catch Carpark Price is Right once again tomorrow – same time, next time, on Radio 1.
Not a bad show today – very much celebrity dominated, but still raised some smiles. Another review coming tomorrow night…
