Gooood Afternoon! Only eight minutes in to the show and we've already heard rumours that Bono shouted out "Eh? Dirty Boy!" at last night's U2 gig. According to a barrage of texts he did say it, finally something a bit more high profile. Not that the cricket isn't…
One texter wants to know why someone always says 'Love it or Hate it' after 50 Cent's new song. That's because it's the title, oh smart one. Bit concerned about the amount of times Scott says "weekdays 4 till 7". Seems to be becoming more frequent!
Chappers is disappointed in David Beckham because he's pictured on the tabloids in Speedos. He's concerned because he thinks this will now come back in to fashion. He has a story about a holiday to do with Speedos, but he wasn't going to share it. Speaking of Chappers, he's been drawing on the new Radio 1 ideas board that the bosses have added to the studio. Not only that, but it was in permanent pen. Don't let Chappers influence you, kids! (Especially now he's started making strange noises on the microphone, blame the belts)
It's back! The Takeaway Game
Yeeessss! After a popular result from the poll on our message board for its return, the Takeaway Game is back with a pizza flavour. Visitors can hear the first three Takeaway Games from the last Breakfast Show stint on our website. Basically, Scott phones a takeaway, makes an order, puts them on hold and rings up another takeaway. He then gets the first one to repeat the order to the second one, and the second one believes the first one is making a new order. From then on it gets confusing and complicated. God love it, between them they did manage to figure out it was someone from the radio, but it took them absolutely ages and then by the time they'd figured it out they managed to confuse themselves again! Keep checking out the message board; no doubt there'll be a download of it.
And now for the interlude…
Scott managed to finish whatever he'd scripted (presumably!) with a few minutes to spare, and to fill, he decided to play that gay song. Over 500 texts came in with "yes" for it within 10 seconds.

Allowing requests for anything but Tease Me by Chaka Demus and Pliers. One caller was on about Travis forgetting the lyrics to some of his songs. And one sweet six-year-old girl knows the Flirt Divert number and frequently gives out the number, awww. Tonight's 'Most Wanted' was Charlotte Church, Crazy Chick.
Most Haunted
It was all kicking off last night on Living TV's Most Haunted Live. Del Boy and Yvette were down a coal mine in Yorkshire. Gripping stuff. One guy didn't know why he threw a glass at Derek, and Yvette got emotional as always. Scott was going to ring Yvette to get the low down, but he's lost her number, it's probably for the best…
I like burgers, I thought you might too
Flirt Divert
It's Flirt Divert and we had a tease at the start of the show with some guy who took his date to a burger place when she was a vegetarian. Had a hint of Linda Barker to him, just with burgers and not sofas – "I like burgers, I thought you might too". Scott reckons he sounds like Paul off of Celebrity Love Island. One Your Call requester claimed he sounded like Joe Pasquale, although he sounded nothing like him. And as well as that another caller reckons it was David Beckham, once again, sounding nothing like him. 077 459 875 0 is the number to keep in your phone book.
On with the main flirt divert feature, and one caller couldn't grasp the idea of an answer phone. Another had left her bag at a night club and wants to know if she can stay over, "possibly on your sofa, not in your bed obviously". Yeah right… Once again the mailbox has been full, although Scott would like to make it clear that the majority are a load of jibberish messages.
Eh? Dirty Boy! at Glastonbury
Scott wants to get Eh? Dirty Boy! on a banner at Glastonbury for the BBC Three television coverage which Colin & Edith are fronting. One caller is hoping to take it to Wimbledon, and another is taking it to Glastonbury so keep an eye out.
Definitely a better show today with the much hoped for return of The Takeaway Game. Chappers seemed on top form. Let's hope they keep it up. See you on the message board…
