Well hello there. I'm not doing anything this afternoon so I thought I'd do a review. Thanks to the Scott Mills team for their help with the website. We've now got a link on the BBC Radio 1 Online pages, so hello to any new visitors visiting.
Diddums…
Don't you just hate it when loved up partners speak to each other in stupid voices and call one and other 'diddums'? Thankfully I can't say I've experienced it yet. Well it's Scott's new pet hate along with the rest of the nation. We've heard stories from listeners who are fed up of their ex's doing it, or their relations. And then there's the couples who walk around with their hands in each other's back pockets. It's not big and it's not clever.
It's coming out both ends here
Chappers was back today, and it was "only coming out of one hole here". Nice image there Mr Chapman, but good to have him back. Oh, and by the way, we've got a Chappers page, now online at Unofficial Mills.
The Majestic Cinema
Daniel off of the Majestic Cinema in Kings Lynn is no longer on the Box Office answerphone! Not so Majestic now are they? They've managed to find someone just as geeky. C'mon who hasn't rang that number just to hear Daniel's amusing almost stand-up routine?
Eh? Dirty Boy! hits the boring sports
Eh? Dirty Boy! was at the Green Day concert last weekend, and it's been spotted at the cricket today. Sky Sports 1 if you want to catch the highlights, but who out there actually wants to watch cricket? The next goal is to get an 'Eh? Dirty Boy!' sign at the Glastonbury festival over the weekend. Or even Wimbledon – looks like we're going for banners at boring sports! Don't let the side down Mills fans!
You've left your pants here
Flirt Divert
Scott's tracked down a caller to the Flirt Divert number who's had 30 calls about it since it was played yesterday on Radio 1. He's the one who said "you've just left your pants here you hussy" and is very embarrassed about the incident. Even his grand-ma's been winding him up. But apparently the girl was stunning. He sounded gutted. But it sounds like he's got some love on the texts. Scott then received quite a few e-mails off girls claiming to be the one who lost their pants. One caller when trying to describe the pants hesitated and then said: "Um… I'm not sure I was wearing any pants when I walked out". Goooood Mornin'! Chappers said he'd like her e-mail address, to make sure she gets her pants back of course. They just need a description of the pants and they may well be returned.
The Chappers Virus
This led to one caller being a bit concerned about Chappers for wanting her e-mail address. His attempts at 'Candy Shop' by 50 Cent and his obsession with Girls Aloud is finally starting to worry some listeners. Perhaps it's part of the illness he's had?
Your Call
One caller had been to a Basement Jaxx gig the other night, Scott wanted to know if they're still together (this goes back to an incident when Scott was sitting in for Moyles a few months back). Another caller reckoned she was going to have spaghetti coming out of her nose. Is that what university does to you these days? Scott says that he doesn't have wine coming out of his nose (surely he's had it happen a few times?), and she should get her nose checked out. Tonight's 'Most Wanted' track was the Bodyrockers.
Well that's all I have to say about today's show. Rather quiet in my opinion and nothing major happening, hopefully things will pick up tomorrow
