I'm pleased Sara has rejected the breakfast show if true. She's doing a really good show at teatime and it flows brilliantly and seems to be getting better and better. For me it's Ronan Keating, fits the age profile and has experience of breakfast shows and brings in loads of women listeners. Will have lots of availability after June when Boyzone finishes and would work well with Ellie as co host

One of the stations main concerns regarding OJ is his reluctance to move to London permanently which is where the station seems to like the weekday shows coming from. I think he could do drive from Manchester and can't see how how he can do Piano room from up there

This is coming across as the bitter ramblings of a scorned Ex. Seems like Scott had broken it off or was FWB for a while and when he got with Sam in 2016 he's not happy about it and complained. 2nd complaint in early 2025 just after the marriage and then another shot at him when he got the top job

This is all very strange. Surely when the police went to BBC in 2016 the conversation would have gone like this "we are currently investigating Scott Mills over an alleged sexual assault with a minor" or they would have at least asked the police the ages and more details. When Scott told them he was interviewed he would have said or was asked. If not this is a oversight by the BBC. The interviews will all have been recorded somewhere. This is very very harsh on Scott

The mirror online posted this last night. It's seems to be a separate incident with the same person They also say he had crisis talks hours before his final show which is probably why he was so off form Tuesday as they made decisions

Scott for me was the one who got my invested in radio. I'd listened on and off for years for different shows and stations but nothing stuck and I remember tuning into r1when Scott was on a afternoon show with chappers and laughing so much and been following him since and dragged me to r2 whenever he covered there and eventually full time and defended him against trolls who didn't want him on r2 as wasn't the right fit and to give him time to settle in and show his class. As I've got more into radio I've heard nothing but compliments from other presenters saying Scott was the reason they do it too like Steve Wright was for Scott and how every idea or fun thing to do Scott has done it 1st so it shows how valuable and loved he is and how he launched Chappers and Starks careers among others behind the scenes. Wouldn't blame him if he went abroad to do radio for a while as he has a global fan base or doing something for Eurovision hq. Ideally I'd like a bombeleo podcast with Chris for a while. Just hope he is getting whatever support he can and can come back stronger eventually

Huw was suspended as he was arrested and it was a live investigation into him. Huw also was never sacked as he resigned down the line. I think this is partly down to whether the police told the BBC the boy was under 16 or did they say an illegal relationship in the 90s and whether Scott at the time said the boy was 16 or 17 and upon the law changing was safe. If Scott said to BBC bosses that he has been interviewed for a relationship for a 17yo and left out the police think the boy is under 16 then he's purposely misled them. But either way the case was dropped and that should have been that. They are saying the new bosses didn't know of any investigation in Scott and previous bosses hadn't mentioned it but Im not sure it matters as case was dropped

News at 10 have said the new managers didn't know about Scott's allegations and when they found out sacked him, they also believe the new information relates to the boys age and wasn't known when Scott told them in 2018

I don't think it's that big a claim. Like most celebrities he has a team of people including lawyers who write and post things for him. With something so delicate it's important to get it right to avoid backlash, coupled with Scott's projected mental state it would be logical to assume

This clearly wasn't written by Scott. Written by his lawyer perhaps This feels strange if this is why he was fired when they knew about it then and would have come up in interview process for r2 job. Can't suddenly have remembered it and sacked him

Not looking good for Scott or the BBC at this point. If the new information is similar to original case then the BBC would likely have decided that it's pattern recognition and not a one off and/or irrefutable evidence against him
