  1. Hmm, i was working yesterday. And true enough, as DC said, most of the managers managed to waggle a day off. Being on customer services doing returns for unwanted gifts all day boxing day was not my ideal way of spending the bank holiday. I wouldnt have minded so much if the customers were a bit more pleasant.
  2. If anything, it would probably be in November. Its the only month that the schools arent off.
  3. Happy Christmas everyone, I hope you all survive the dire 'family' time tomorrow.

    Hello from John

Nice one John, all the best to you and your girlfriend. Hope youre both well.
  5. That cricket guy, Freddie Flintoff. And Amy Winehouse. I happened to be reading a copy of 'Closer' in the dentist theother day, and witnessed a horrific picture of her. Sort yourself out woman.
  6. The Hold Steady didnt get nearly enough attention this year.
  7. Just reading this thread, i've realised i actually have nohing planned Ooh T in the Park, perhaps. Thats if a) i can get money and I can get tickets.
  8. The christmas party has been such a joy. Depressing though that i havent bought anything as yet so i cant wrap. Would be much more christmassy that way.
  9. I dont like choice. Within a mile radius of my house, there is a Tesco, 2 Morrisons, Sainsburys, Lidl, Co-op and Asda. Not to mention the supermarkets outwith this one mile. They should take some away, its unnecessary.
  10. For this moving house malarky to be over. It was exciting at first, im just annoyed at staring at cardboard boxes now.
  11. I dont feel inclined to listen as much anymore. I used to listen to the full 3 hours, 5 days a week. Now when i do tune in, I dont feel theres enough in it to keep me listening. Every show goes through 'dry' phases, of course. I hope it picks up soon.
  12. Colin Murray Zane Lowe Scott Mills Chris Moyles Julyan Sinclair (XFM Scotland) Heather Suttie (XFM Scotland) Fraser Thompson (XFM Scotland)
  13. Sunday was the first proper show id heard of this. Going by the fact she couldnt string a sentence together, spoke over songs, announced "good life" as by Westlife and not kanye west and didnt know the difference between the email and the web address, then id say time to move on.
  14. I miss being around 10 years old, where it was perfectly acceptable for me to be the only girl on the football pitch playing with the boys. And climbing the trees, then jumping off them, when only i could believe i was a proper power ranger.
  15. Boyzone was the highlight of my night, is that bad? They all looked so awkward, especially the fat bloke that no one remembers.
  16. Everyone was to be blamed for the buzzcocks shambles, although at least moyles had the balls to joke about it.
  17. oi, they asked us. There was no fluttering involved.
  18. Have you braved a haircut from celebrity scissorhands, doing something at work, or being a heartless bugger and doing nothing at all? Theres a rumour of us waxing as many boys' legs in school as possible. Who knows. But ive already bought a badge!
  19. No, GAP is always a huge shop, but they have nothing in them. Its always so empty inside. And expensive. I was getting the bus to work yesterday, and on my trip to the bus stop, there was a bra lying next to the football fields. I dread to think how they ended up there, they were lying next to the benches were the local chavs hang around...
  20. Are we being colloquial today? Awrite. I feel rubbish too Sigrid. I havent quite recovered from Calvin Harris yet.
  21. Dinner Couch Living room Ive found people have various names for their remote control. I call mine the dooda.
  22. DC, DC, DC... Maybe you should take a leaf from all the other guys' book then
  23. Yeah, I bought one from school. Its on my blazer. It doesnt have a pin, so ive had to jam it in between 2 badges. Ridiculous.
  24. Just because this girl is all over a 'bad boy' in a nightclub, doesnt mean she wants a long term relationship. In the short term, girls are more likely to go for the guy who approaches her and flirts with her, not the guy who stares at her from a distance hoping she'll make the first move. What im trying to say is, this girl might not be all over you, but its not to say shes not interested in you. Then again, it might not be you at all, she might not want a relationship with anyone and is just looking for some 'fun'.
