The thing is unlike the last time (Ten Hour Take Over) This time he will be over there in the BFBS Studio. The 10 hour take over was a good idea but no link in between the station, the radio DJ were doing there show and the BFBS DJ were doing theres. This time it looks like there will be one show one DJ on two station that should work well. I am looking forward to it.

Mmmm will Moyles want it? I can see him on Radio 2 soon. Now Annie going to have a baby who going to cover her? What a year it has been and who would of gest this line up...

Hi all I am not sure if I have missed the news but has the full time DJ for 10 till midnight been announced yet? I see Huw is in this week and next is that how it is going to stay? Melvin

It has been said a few times RADIO 1 need RADIO DJ like Greg, Scott and Chris with back ground in radio. There is more of a world outside youtude and T4. Radio 1 stop parachuting in people with no skills just because they are already semi famous with the "target" group and get people who are radio "nerds" and know how what make a good show.

It is sad to see two of the old guard moving on I will miss them . I can fully see where Vernon is coming from "I felt it was the right time to leave as the girls are now both in school so weekends are more precious than ever." and I said it was going to happen soon. Reggie I was not thinking he would go but it looks like he wanted it so that is his choice. I am sure everyone wish him good luck with his new projects I will look forward to se what he come up with. As for the new line up, Well done to Matt and well done to Radio 1, right person in the right slot I will look forward to listen to the new show. Jameela Jamil not sure I am not a fan but I will wait and see. Dan and Phil really I stand to be put right but I don't think radio will be there home for long put them on BBC 3 TV or even put them on Wednesday night. "Would have been an ideal platform for someone new, from the Student Radio Awards..." harrysmyth your so right.

I listen to the breakfast show. I like Grimmy and his show, one thing that is better then Moyles is the music mix. Grimmy is light on the ears and relaxed but sometime I lost interest when his gose into corporate mode. Looking forward to see where he take the show next, less corporate plugs and more random feature I got a idea it is called Car Park Catchphrase.

Vernon Kay has just tweeted. "Vernon Kay's BBC radio1 listening figures go up in latest RAJAR results...Thanks for tuning in!!" So Vernon is up I am not sure about numbers but dose anyone know about other show? Like Greg, Scott, Dev, Any radio show really?

So I have two question. 1. How many studios dose Radio1 and 1xtra have in there new Broadcasting House area? 2. If/When will the webcam be up from the new studio? Hope people can help. Thank you very much.

Thank you. Bed music are one thing that most people don't hear but with out them radio dose not sound the same. I am not how or where radio gets it beds another DJ beds I like are Dev.

Vernon is back on the radio this weekend. I have been looking and now need help, dose anyone know what bed music his show use for his opening link. Both vernon link and the bit where a radio DJ said what happen that week? I am not sure but the raw bed music must be out there some where. Can anyone help? (Sorry about spelling. ) Melvin

I am not sure what Radio 1 are doing but they need to make there mind up soon. I am not sure what has happend to Vernon Kay he not been around for a few weeks. WHAT IS GOING ON RADIO 1 TELL US!!! I think you are right Phil is one of my faves, but I don't remember Colin Murray.

Talking about the show features. Wheel of Four-Tunes is good but needs work it needs a point. Nick's Tape is poor rip off and has no point with the Golden Hour you had to gest the year, it also had that link with radio 1 history and the tunes had that feel good pop factor that has a friday feel good feeling. Call or Delete is great and funny, I would say I am not sure how long Nick can do it before his phone book stopped playing along. There is that one with The Quiz Bot I can't think of its name, I think it will grow the Bot needs some more lines. As for other features I can't think of the other right now but I give the features a good base but could do better.

Well I think it has been only a few days and Nick will grow into the role. If you can think back that far so did Chris like everything good it take time. Saying that I think so far so good. I like the show it is relaxed, fun and the music mix is just right. I loved The Chris Moyles Show and miss him but Nick is not bad at all. I feel that some people sould give him a break.

Of course everyone has there own views, but looking at post, tweets and news coming from Radio 1 and people in the know, there is a plan but people are not showing all there cards yet. My veiw is Scott has a future on Radio he is doing well in 1-4 slot but I can't see him moving with in Radio 1 much more, his next move in a few years maybe out the door? It look like he will still cover Nick but I can see Greg/Scott taking in turns. Scott won't do a Chris and just go overnight but be more like Edith Bowman or Coxy slowly fade into the back ground. As for other cover I think it looks like Matt, Dev, Gemma and Phil are the ones to watch. Huw is great on weekend, nights and evening but as much as I like him he is not for day time.

I was thinking about Matt that he would get two shows a week. One his Wednesday night show 2100-2200 and then Sundays 2200-0000. So his Sunday show would be like his Wednesday show but for two hour. He is good at what he dose with late night radio "Comedy" I am not sure if you can call it that but what ever it is, it good fun.

So two things to talk about. One Chris Moyles will not be on Radio 1 weekday or weekends for the rest of the year. He is in Jesus Christ Superstar with 20 show dates between September and the end of the year, I find it hard to think how anyone could do a Westend show with say about 5 shows a week at different times in different places across the UK and do a full radio 1 show. Weekdays. 0400-0630 Not sure someone new (I hope it is not Tom). 0630-1000 Nick Grimshaw. 1000-1245 Fearne Cotton (Sara Cox when Fearne has the baby.) 1300-1600 Scott Mills. 1600-1900 Greg James. 1900-2100 Zane Lowe (Huw to take over one day). 2100-2200 The same random mix. 2200-0000 Phil Taggart. Weekend. 0700-1000 Gemma Cairney. 1000-1300 Dev (Sat & Sun). 1300-1600 Huw (till he moves to Zane time). 1600-1900 Danny Howard, Sat/ Chart Show, Sunday, 1900-2100 Jameela Jamil. 2100-2200 The Surgery with Aled. 2200-0000 Matt Edmondson.
