I would be quite pleased if it were true- the playlist needs more of a focus on new music (and not just when it's a guaranteed hit that they can take the credit for).

The show was great today- they're really back on form after those competition-filled ones last week.

I was thinking today how I actually really like Grimmy now, having not initially. I'd much rather have him on Saturday mornings than Vernon, or maybe instead of Greg on afternoons. Is he likely to be moved 'up' in the schedule in any future changes?

It seems to me Andy Parfitt needs reminding the target age is 15-24, not 8-13. I'm really not a fan of Tom Deacon- I find myself listening to Switch quite often and enjoying Annie and Nick, if not some of the music. Bit of a strange move, though not surprising- if the Daily Mail et al want evidence of BBC dumbing down then look no further!

I think this really should be used as an excuse for a petition to get their music removed from the playlist- they offend my ears.

Indeed, it's all the talk about it that's annoying. I enjoyed the show a lot more today because there seemed to be a lot less of it. That and the slagging off of the playlist- LOVE it when Chris says what we're all thinking! Do Biffy Clyro have a relative on the playlist panel... Justin Bieber- music for twelve-year-olds...

Very telling of the current BBC Trust attitude toward Radio 1. It should be more about music taste than age range- you don't have be be twelve to enjoy new music! And indeed it should be 15+ that are catered to... Not having a go at you Aled, just the ridiculous policy correlation between music and age!

Ooh, didn't think of it like that... I'm glad it's not just me who wasn't enjoying it- I think these competitions are a slightly rubbish idea. Didn't realise it's just this week though- glad about that. I did think he's have more interesting things to talk about this morning than "Go-karting with N-Dubz"- he mentioned it so many times it was getting on my tits. Not a particularly strong return, but I like the new jingles and hopefully tomorrow will be better! Oh and are Rachel and Aled likely to be swapping back anytime soon? I miss her!

Please no. I cannot bear Dominic- the weak point of the Chris Moyles Show for me. His stupidity really irritates me- I quite like newsreaders to have some semblance of intelligence.

I hope there's not too much focus on the World Cup- it'll be everywhere. As augusta92 said- if I wanted to hear about it I'd listen to 5Live! I'll be trying to escape it.
