I met my now partner on AOL back in 1996 in a chat room. We got together several times before finally seeing each other exclusively in 2000. So, sometimes it works!

I tried it at work last week. I attempted to get several of my co-workers to join me, all to no avail. Although some of them kept me company while I did it. I didn't get much out of the experience, and I did try up and down, as well as using one regular elevator and one freight (metal floor) elevator. I think the problem here is that we only have 4 floors, and our lifts are pretty slow.

He does seem to pop up all over the place. Although when Fringe started, I said, "That's the guy from Lost!".

Agreed. It affected me much more than I would have thought. I had to actually grab a tissue while I was at work reading about it.

I can only speak for myself as a gay guy, but Chappers is an attractive guy. Plus, he has a great voice. But as for gay icon? Not sure about that one yet.

Someone remind me what the "You're Sick" feature was all about? OWO is still a classic but I also like the bits with the old folks and the honesty game.

Any word on how he did? I had absolutely no interest in watching, having seen only one of the major movies nominated.

**Psuedo-spoiler**According to my newest issue of Entertainment Weekly, a semi-major character will be offed by the end of the season. I almost gave up on the show several times during the third season. I still like the first season the most. I think the best thing the writers and producers ever did was to set an ending date for the show. This has been a very tight season so far and one of the best.

13. *ooh, l like 13.* People who cut into lines, particularly at amusement/theme parks after you've been waiting for over an hour, and then get indignant when those who have been waiting speak up and say something.

I think I just saw a commercial spot for a show they are doing on American tv.

I think Graham Norton would be a laugh as a BFF.

Organized religion....since we're not limiting it to actual physical things.

I like watching the really awful people during the tryouts for American Idol, but I can't stand the juggernaut that it has become on American television. Sometimes it's on 3 times a week, and the way people get obsessed by it really grates on my nerves. Also, anything involving Miley Cyrus, the Olsen hags, or Paris Hilton I'll avoid to the best of my ability. I'm sure I'll think of other things....

I just caught the Surgery for the first time the other day, and I thought Aled did a wonderful job.

I'm not familiar with her, but that is very sad. She was so young. My condolences go out to her family and friends.

Could someone answer a Series 2 question for me? My DVR somehow missed taping the second to last episode. So basically, I saw Jal tell Chris while he was semi-conscious about the baby, and then next thing I know, Chris is dead. Did he ever find out about the baby? Or did he basically die in the hospital and never came to again? Also, was the girl at the end in Tony's bed Effy or the stalker girl? I assumed it was Effy. (Sorry, it was more than one question.)
