None of them speak English. So I was dropped in at the deep end too. At least Spanish is written as it's spoken, unlike Eng (sorry, I'm an Eng teacher - just preparing classes for next week). Depends on your result s'pose, but once you've studied a language, it's such a shame to lose it. Spanish is v important lang nowadays. Eg in the most of the large cities in the States nowadays, it is almost a necessity.

I grudgingly understand this...how much a license nowadays? I can't get any bbc radio anymore through the satellite (since about a week ago), thank God for this computer. Whatever you pay for the license fee, it's worth it. Spanish telly has more ads than programmes. They put the best film of the week on tv starting at 10pm on Sunday; first ad break is half an hour! I'm not joking. The film finally ends around 2am, when you should've been in bed early, getting ready for work on Monday. Ridiculous.

I think you made a very mature decision - it can't have been, or be at all easy for you to miss out on the weekend, but GET ON WITH YOUR WORK now!
